Speaker 1:

in a world where everything is unscripted. This is roasty toasty ghost. I'm gonna whisper, I'm gonna be up here yeah, you should go close, I'm whispering yeah, whenever you go close, you know the microphone looks like you have a big shiny nose.

Speaker 2:

You have a big nose. I hurt my own ears when I talk like this.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so I'm gonna start.

Speaker 2:

Are we starting this? Yeah, alright. We do we do that, and then we yeah.

Speaker 1:

I never remember.

Speaker 2:

Three, two, one. Whoops, oh, that was not synchronized. Is there any way we can go back and try again?

Speaker 1:

Sure, maybe I can like fix it in post.

Speaker 2:

Good luck.

Speaker 1:

Did you hear that I used some fancy terms there?

Speaker 2:

That was a fancy term. Fix it in post.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, terms there. That was a fancy term. Fix it in post. Yeah, um, okay. So now I'm supposed to say hello and welcome to roasty toasty ghosty.

Speaker 2:

My name is matthias and and I'm your best, dean lauren hello, lauren, hello I'm gonna talk like okay. This is my voice for today.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so you're going to be like a whisperer.

Speaker 2:

I'm the whisperer.

Speaker 1:

You're the ghostly whisperer.

Speaker 2:

Ghostly whisperer.

Speaker 1:

That's me Okay, cool.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that was my stomach.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it wasn't me.

Speaker 2:

It was me. I really hope you can hear me. Yeah, I hope so too.

Speaker 1:

Listening back, yeah, you know when you do the thing with the thing.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Because that's what it's called.

Speaker 2:

I know what it's called.

Speaker 1:

And then the thing is not going to detect your voice.

Speaker 2:

So it's only my voice, it's only you talking to me. Yeah, how funny would that be talking. Yeah, how funny would that be, especially when I ask questions and don't get answers, and or answer how are you today?

Speaker 1:

yeah, yeah. And then I answer something that no one that would be funny, yeah I would. It would Like that. Yeah, it would Out of nowhere Good.

Speaker 2:

Can you cut out all of my sniffles?

Speaker 1:

Did you?

Speaker 2:

cut out all of my sniffles as many as I possibly could, but sometimes you would sniffle or clear your throat while I was talking and I didn't really want to cut out my talking. No, and I can't cut you out while I'm talking. I can't cut your sound and like shave it a bit. I can't do that.

Speaker 1:

No.

Speaker 2:

If I could, then I would, yeah, but you just felt the need to sniffle while I'm talking.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, okay, so we're gonna see if you can.

Speaker 2:

I'm going to do my best to hold my sniffles until it's my turn to talk.

Speaker 1:

Okay, but you know I have a more difficult task because you're talking all the time.

Speaker 2:

Yes, I don't talk as much as you do, so that's going to be easier for you it's going to be really fun talking today, yeah so you're welcome.

Speaker 1:

So people listening to this should probably like have the sound way up high well, I'm sure that the mastering in post oh yeah, fancy talk it will fix my volume.

Speaker 2:

Probably probably, yeah, probably Normalize.

Speaker 1:

Normalize, normalize. You didn't have normal eyes today.

Speaker 2:

No.

Speaker 1:

Because you were cutting onions.

Speaker 2:

My eyes were burning.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's not normal.

Speaker 2:

No, and they, like, were burning for a really long time.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, not normalize that.

Speaker 2:

No, not really.

Speaker 1:

No, unless you're cutting onions, which you did, so maybe they are normal, but not for that long. No, that's unnormal.

Speaker 2:

Matias. Yeah, how are you doing?

Speaker 1:

I'm doing well.

Speaker 2:

Well, well, well.

Speaker 1:

Well, well, well, and how about you?

Speaker 2:

I'm great yeah.

Speaker 1:

No, I'm not Well well well, and how about you?

Speaker 2:

I'm great, yeah, no, I'm not, I'm not good.

Speaker 1:

No, not good. So we're going to try to keep this short. That would be great, but I doubt it's actually going to be short.

Speaker 2:

No, yeah, we'll try to plow through this as quickly as we can, though.

Speaker 1:

Okay, while still being fun and entertaining. Yeah, should we like go through the week? That would be really cool. Right now.

Speaker 2:

Nothing really happened, that's it Not much. Okay, let's see Okay, last weekend we had live Mad Libs.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

It was fun.

Speaker 1:

It was fun. It went well. It went well, it went well.

Speaker 2:

Went well, went well, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow.

Speaker 1:

Speaker 2:

That's it yeah.

Speaker 1:

That's all that happened this week. No, on Sunday we went to the cinema.

Speaker 2:

We did, yeah, we watched the Fall Guy.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

With Ryan Gosling.

Speaker 1:

Yes, and Emily Blunt and also Aaron Taylor Johnson.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he was also there.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and he played John Lennon in the movie we watched before. No, we're boy right and uh yeah, he's also in shanghai nights as a boy as a boy as a boy as a boy, yeah, as a boy at a boy it was a good movie.

Speaker 2:

Did you get a?

Speaker 1:

fall guy. It was a good movie it was um, yeah, I, I really liked it. I like that they gave the stunt people some credit yeah, in a movie for once, it was really good. Yeah, I enjoyed it a lot yes and um I I really liked the director to this movie. He started off as a stunt person and even was an actor. He was in the TV series that I was talking about with Sammo Hung.

Speaker 2:

Okay.

Speaker 1:

MashaAllah. He was in the first season. He was like a hand-to-hand instructor and he was very macho and cocky and and when he saw samuel he was like he thought that was just a piece of trash. He a fat guy who can't fight. And then samuel just beat the guy up and yeah, yeah, it's, it was funny. So yeah, he was in that too, and not that it has anything to do with the movie more than he's the director of that movie.

Speaker 1:

So back to the movie. Yeah, I mean, what can you say about the movie without spoiling it?

Speaker 2:

not much. No, I'm just gonna say it was a really good movie, yeah it's like a.

Speaker 1:

It's about a stuntman who kind of, uh, he becomes a detective. You can say, okay, that's not it I don't know, I'm just. You don't know I thought you saw the movie.

Speaker 2:

I did.

Speaker 1:

Okay, leaving the movie, that was it. I mean, then, we've been working every day except.

Speaker 2:

Well, hold on, I worked every other day.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 2:

I did not work on Tuesday for reasons that I'm pretty sure I will remember. At some point I brought my life partner to a doctor's appointment to get his foot looked at His broken foot.

Speaker 1:

That was Tuesday.

Speaker 2:

Was it not Because I had every other day off?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and on Thursday we had the day off.

Speaker 2:

That was yesterday.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and that was because Christ is going back to heaven. He went to heaven.

Speaker 2:

Okay.

Speaker 1:

That's why.

Speaker 2:

All right. In Sweden at least I hope he had a nice trip.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I think so.

Speaker 2:

Did you do anything exciting yesterday?

Speaker 1:

No, I thought I was going to be good and edit a video or something, but no, I just watched videos instead. Yeah, I really don't like that. I did not edit. I should take every opportunity I get, but not yesterday.

Speaker 2:

No, I helped my daughter deep clean her room. It really needed it. Yeah daughter deep clean her room it really needed it, yeah. And we put some stuff up for sale and yeah, I think she's pretty happy.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I saw the results. It looks good yeah, it does I kind of want the tv, but I don't know where to put it you can take it just to put it on the floor. Yeah, yeah, I can uh, do you want a couch that I really don't know where to put it on the floor. Yeah, yeah, I can.

Speaker 2:

Do you want a couch?

Speaker 1:

That I really don't know where to put.

Speaker 2:

Do you want the TV stand?

Speaker 1:

The TV stand.

Speaker 2:

The one that's in the hallway now.

Speaker 1:

That's really big, so I don't know.

Speaker 2:

Maybe you need a new TV stand.

Speaker 1:

I don't know where to put that either.

Speaker 2:

On the floor.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but where?

Speaker 2:

Do you have any space on your floor?

Speaker 1:

No, put it there. That's the problem.

Speaker 2:

You don't walk anywhere.

Speaker 1:

No, no, you just crawl over furniture. No, we climb in the ceiling.

Speaker 2:

Oh, like monkeys, I have a suggestion. You can put it right in the middle of the hallways. You can climb on that. No, no, no, you can put it outside for the cats.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, ask your sister, does she want a couch?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, or a TV stand. You should put it on, do your knees need a TV. No, I think they're good. Ha ha, ha Funny.

Speaker 2:

I asked like it was a plural anyway do your knees instead of does your niece. I am so funny yeah uh, so do you need a lamp? No um so trying to get rid of a lamp yeah, okay, let's keep this short.

Speaker 1:

No more questions, please. What no more?

Speaker 2:

questions Like I'm interviewing you. Yeah, no more questions. No comments.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so that's it. We're happy that the week's over.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. So Today's Friday, it is May 10th. I had a friend yesterday. Her birthday was yesterday.

Speaker 1:

You had a friend yesterday his birthday was also yesterday you only make friends on their birthday.

Speaker 2:

Is it your birthday today? We're besties now.

Speaker 1:

That's why you want cake yeah.

Speaker 2:

I befriend everyone whose birthday is the current day because I want their cake, and then I never hear from them, ever again. I never talk to them, anyway. Anyway, forget that Not funny. I laughed, I didn't laugh, anyway, anyway.

Speaker 1:

Anyway.

Speaker 2:

Forget that. Not funny, I laughed I didn't laugh.

Speaker 1:

Oh, I'm sorry, that's because you don't have humor. I guess You're not funny.

Speaker 2:

No. You're such a serious person Anyway, anyway, anyway, it's Friday and we watched movies.

Speaker 1:

Yes, let's movie on.

Speaker 2:

Let's movie on let's movie. On Today we watched Armageddon and the Broadway melody from 1929. So I'm going to, in my very attractive voice, my low voice, I'm going to tell you about Armageddon. Okay, this is a movie. It has Bruce Willis and a whole bunch of other people.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 2:

In which you may talk about later. Not yet because I'm talking, it's my turn.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's true.

Speaker 2:

Yes, I know it's true.

Speaker 1:

I said it, it's not a one man show usually movies only have bruce willis.

Speaker 2:

yeah, it's not a movie if it doesn't only have bruce willis if he's not the only one in the movie, exactly. Anyway, bruce willis is a oil driller guy. Yeah, he drills holes to catch some oil, like fish fish fish.

Speaker 2:

He catches fish, but he doesn't catch fish. He catches oil, fish oil, fish oil, omega-3s, yeah, um, that's it, yeah, and there's a giant meteor coming towards earth and nasa is like bruce willis, you have to save the day by drilling a hole into this meteor thing. And he was like okay, so he takes his friends out to space and they have adventures. That's the best summary I can give you.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

I'm going to tell you about this movie again. Okay, I made it sound like I was going to re-say everything I just said.

Speaker 1:

Okay, that's not what I meant. Am I cutting in?

Speaker 2:

No, no, no hold on.

Speaker 1:

Hold on.

Speaker 2:

I guess Maybe on the side just for fun. Yeah okay, putting in the outtakes or something. Hmm, I enjoyed this movie a lot. I got lost into the movie.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

I noticed that I was very focused. It had my attention. It was very exciting. Yeah, it's a good movie.

Speaker 1:

It is.

Speaker 2:

And that's my review. Yeah, please tell me everything you have to say about Armageddon.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so it's a big rock going towards Earth. So yeah, bruce Willis had to drill and blow the rock, are you?

Speaker 2:

serious. Are you keeping that?

Speaker 1:

What Are you? I'm mad. Yeah, this movie is directed by Michael Bay, and he directed a movie called the Rock.

Speaker 2:

He likes rocks.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, this movie has a lot of Actors that you might recognize, like Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck and Liv Taylor and Michael Clark Duncan and Owen Wilson, of course, oh yeah, he's been in a movie with Jackie Chan. Yeah, and Jason Isaacs. He has also been in a movie with Jackie Chan. The Tuxedo Hamilton oh uh, peter stormire yeah he played a russian.

Speaker 2:

He was really funny. Yeah, I think he was my favorite character, my two, yeah, I love his character in this movie.

Speaker 1:

and, um, who else? Billy bob thornton, steve buscemi?

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, a lot of funny guys and interesting guys and girls. Not that many girls, but it's a guy-heavy movie. I guess One thing about the Rock and this movie is that the guy who plays the president in this movie, he plays the president in the Rock too. Oh, he's really good at being the president in this movie.

Speaker 2:

He plays the president in the Rock too. Oh, he's really good at being the president.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so I see these two movies being like in the same universe. Yeah, that's pretty cool.

Speaker 2:

Does the Rock have the Rock in it?

Speaker 1:

No, but it has Sean Connery and Nicolas Cage.

Speaker 2:

It has A-Rock.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it has Alcatraz.

Speaker 2:

Okay.

Speaker 1:

Also known as the Rock.

Speaker 2:

Okay, gotcha.

Speaker 1:

Yes, and that movie is also really, really, that's awesome movie. I hope it's on the list, if not, it should be. Anyhow, this movie very cool, good effects, funny characters, some drama, a love story. Yeah, it has a lot of things.

Speaker 2:

It was kind of sad for a bit.

Speaker 1:

Yes, that is true, but yeah, my review is that I also really like it.

Speaker 2:

That is a good review.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I love our reviews.

Speaker 2:

That's.

Speaker 1:

Armageddon from 1998. Now over to a movie from 1929. And that's the Broadway Melody. Okay, so this movie is about two sisters and their goal at getting up on a stage and singing and dancing and stuff, and then it was about like a love story too. I mean, it has some guys in it.

Speaker 2:

You're nailing this. Yeah, you're doing great.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, thank you.

Speaker 2:

Please continue Because one guy.

Speaker 1:

He's like rich and takes and takes advantage of one of the sisters. Or he buys her expensive stuff and all that just to get with her, and she falls for it for a long period of the movie. And there's another guy who's a better guy, also a singer, and he yeah, okay, I won't tell the whole story, but it's about that the sisters and some guys Do you have something to add?

Speaker 2:

The sisters have an act and they're trying to rise to stardom.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, that's kind of what I tried to say.

Speaker 2:

That is what you tried to say, with many words.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, that's it. Did I miss anything?

Speaker 2:

No, not really.

Speaker 1:

No.

Speaker 2:

No, that was it. This was the first musical to win an Oscar.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it said so, I didn't really look anything up. Yeah, it said so, I didn't. Really look anything out. I mean, you put this on the list, so I guess you have more knowledge about this movie than I do.

Speaker 2:

I probably don't. Okay, this is probably one of the musicals that I found off of a list of must-see, or classic musicals must-see or like classic musicals.

Speaker 1:

yeah, because I think you put this on the list when you went, you know, deep on the earlier movies in maybe I think so, and this must have been like.

Speaker 2:

I mean, it is some it wasn't the first musical I know I put on the first musical on the list. I don't know where it is. I don't know what it's called anymore.

Speaker 1:

No, I don't either, but it's like I mean since it's like the first winning an Oscar, it is a milestone in that regard too.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's a big deal.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, this is from 29. Wasn't that the year the oscars started?

Speaker 1:

I don't know I'm pretty sure so maybe so it would have been weird if another movie got an oscar before this, if that was the first first oscar, yeah, ceremony. But yeah, this movie I don't know. I mean it was good for being of that time. I guess with all the movies we've seen so far it's not a very special story or the plot isn't very special, but that's probably because we've seen other movies before this. That's come after this one, I guess. So yeah, I mean it's okay, it's not the top ten or anything like that, but it's not the worst either. And also they kind of make fun of a guy with the stutter.

Speaker 2:

He was fun, yeah, he was fun.

Speaker 1:

So what did you think about this movie?

Speaker 2:

I thought that it I mean, yeah, it probably wasn't a favorite.

Speaker 1:

No.

Speaker 2:

But it was fun to watch. It was really interesting.

Speaker 1:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

Coming from 29. And I thought it was kind of funny when one of the sisters was like what was she doing? Like getting herself made up, and she was wearing like a tank top and shorts, oh, yeah, and someone rang at the doorbell and she's like, oh, I got to get dressed.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Wouldn't want to embarrass myself.

Speaker 1:

No. I was like I would probably open the door anyway, yeah, nowadays, yeah, you have way too much clothes on to be embarrassed.

Speaker 2:

It was a fun, interesting watch. Yeah, and that's my thoughts.

Speaker 1:

I don't regret watching it, but then again I don't think I'll be watching it again.

Speaker 2:

Probably not.

Speaker 1:

Well, I never know. No, but I'd rather watch this one again than another movie with a roof fiddler.

Speaker 2:

A roof fiddler A guy playing a fiddle on a roof.

Speaker 1:

A roof or a road or wherever he plays the fiddle. Yeah, I'd rather watch this one because this isn't that long.

Speaker 2:

Okay.

Speaker 1:

It's just one hour and 40 minutes.

Speaker 2:

Okay yeah, Armageddon was like four hours.

Speaker 1:

No, it was two and a half Two hours and 30 minutes.

Speaker 2:

That wasn't that far.

Speaker 1:

No, but it went by fast though, well, with the exception that we had to pause it like 50 times. But yeah, other than that, it's not like it's a boring movie. It happened, things happen.

Speaker 2:

It was very exciting yeah.

Speaker 1:

I think we're done with the first part. I think we're done. Yeah, I think that too.

Speaker 2:

At least during the first part.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, at least during the first part. So maybe we should go to break now.

Speaker 2:

Let's go to bed To break. Oh okay, We'll be right back.

Speaker 1:

Okay, bye, we're going to take a break. Yes, see you soon. Goodbye back. Okay, we're gonna take a break. Yes, uh, see you soon goodbye bye, we're back we're back we are wow, wow, that's uh, owen wilson did you have a nice break. I did, you did. Yeah, okay, matias, did you by the way.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, cool yeah. What are we doing today?

Speaker 1:

We are doing.

Speaker 2:

I mean Let me tell you what we're doing. Yeah, yeah, you are. I'm going to tell you what we're doing.

Speaker 1:

You're the talker, here You're the talker here, matias. You're like Chris Talker.

Speaker 2:

Huh, we have a problem that we share a problem.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we struggle.

Speaker 2:

We struggle. Whatever the problem is, we struggle yeah.

Speaker 1:

It is a struggle.

Speaker 2:

It really is. We both have a really difficult time with making decisions.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

So I thought, being the educational podcast that we are, yeah, and not at all silly. No, we're not silly, we're educational. Okay Okay, okay we. What was I saying? I completely forgot what I just said, brought to you by open eyes because wiki how was way too long I didn't feel like reading through all of it.

Speaker 1:

No um, we want to keep it short, so right always how to make a decision. We want to keep it short. Every other weekend.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I get some.

Speaker 1:

Okay, how to make a decision.

Speaker 2:

Decision A decision An incision. Yeah, how to make an incision. Hey, open eyes. How to make an incision. I'm sorry. How to make an incision. I'm sorry.

Speaker 1:

How to make an incision no.

Speaker 2:

Making an incision typically involves medical procedures and should only be done by trained professionals. If you're asking about a specific type of incision, like in surgery, it's best to leave it to the experts. What if I am an expert and I'm just asking?

Speaker 1:

open-ended questions.

Speaker 2:

I forgot how to do this.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and I mean second opinion.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, ai should know these things.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Blah, blah, blah, blah blah. Okay, how to make a decision for us people who are very, very bad at these things?

Speaker 1:

Mm-hmm.

Speaker 2:

What is something that you often can't decide over. Wow, If you have two options what are? Those kind of decisions.

Speaker 1:

Often it's about food. Okay, Because I want food and I want so many different things Food-related.

Speaker 2:

Mm-hmm. I think that's the hardest part for me so the first step out of I have seven clarify the decision.

Speaker 1:

So are you coming up with?

Speaker 2:

it doesn't say on the well, I'm trying to come up with an example, but do you have an example?

Speaker 1:

if you're thinking of food, yeah, what are you deciding between yeah, I do, I want lasagna, or do I want pizza? You know?

Speaker 2:

what? That's exactly what I'm okay. Yes, all right, pizza or lasagna, so understand the problem or choice what the heck I kicked the desk oh, I thought it.

Speaker 1:

Okay, that was me again. Again, I thought it was a ghostie.

Speaker 2:

It was a ghostie foot. It came out of nowhere. Okay, so understand the problem or choice you're facing. I understand.

Speaker 1:

I like one yeah.

Speaker 2:

I understand that you're trying to decide between pizza and lasagna, mm-hmm. Okay. So the second step here is to gather information, collect relevant facts and consider different perspectives.

Speaker 1:

What so? I want to ask as many other people as possible, or what does that mean?

Speaker 2:

Collect relevant facts and consider different perspectives. So yeah, I guess, if you want to, you can ask around. Yeah, hey should I have pizza or lasagna?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and do you know things about those things?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, try to learn as much as you possibly can about pizza and lasagna.

Speaker 1:

What do you know about pizza?

Speaker 2:

Hmm, okay.

Speaker 1:

And what do you know about lasagna? It has layers.

Speaker 2:

Like cake and onions. Hmm, okay, and what?

Speaker 1:

do you know about lasagna?

Speaker 2:

It has layers Like cake and onions, yeah, but everybody likes cake.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 2:

Step three Consider alternatives, brainstorm different options and their potential outcomes.

Speaker 1:

Hmm.

Speaker 2:

Another option.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so like what?

Speaker 2:

Like a cheeseburger? Oh yeah, hmm, another option, okay, so like what Would be like a cheeseburger? Oh yeah, that's another decision you have to make.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, all very healthy foods. Okay, so that's it. That was that.

Speaker 2:

Okay, number four evaluate, assess the pros and cons of each option based on your values, priorities and goals. So your values what is it that you enjoy the most out of these food options? What do you like most about pizza?

Speaker 1:

The taste Okay and a full stomach. It's really good with the you know feeling good parts while eating it and stuff like that. Okay, you don't feel as good afterwards, but it's still worth it. I'd say, yeah, that's what I think about pizza.

Speaker 2:

What about lasagna?

Speaker 1:

You know the taste. Oh yeah, that it tastes good and that you get like full and that it the you know feeling good part while eating it, and it's not as good afterwards, but it's worth it.

Speaker 2:

Okay, what about cheeseburgers?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you know the taste and the, you know the being full, you know, and the feeling good part while eating it, yeah. But you don't feel as good afterwards, but it's worth it okay, uh, what are the cons about pizza? So that's the day. It doesn't feel so good afterwards. I think that's the only con, and that you, you get fat.

Speaker 2:

Okay, what about lasagna?

Speaker 1:

I would say that it's the not feeling so good afterwards and that you get fat.

Speaker 2:

Okay, how about cheeseburgers?

Speaker 1:

I would go out on a limb here and say that it is the not feeling so good afterwards and that you get fat.

Speaker 2:

All right. Would there be another alternative that you can think of that doesn't give you these cons?

Speaker 1:

No.

Speaker 2:

But maybe shares the same pros.

Speaker 1:

I mean I don't know, Is it? Do you know? I don't even know if you think like me with the other stuff I said.

Speaker 2:

What about a sandwich? Does that give you the same results?

Speaker 1:

I mean that's more like a snack.

Speaker 2:

Okay.

Speaker 1:

That's not really food, it's not a meal. I would absolutely not say it's a meal.

Speaker 2:

Okay, because that's snacks.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, I don't know, soup, soup is good.

Speaker 2:

Do you feel good after eating soup?

Speaker 1:

I can. Yeah, I think so maybe.

Speaker 2:

Do you have a favorite soup?

Speaker 1:

The one you make.

Speaker 2:

All right, which one?

Speaker 1:

You know the one where you dip the bread and that one which one? You know the one where you dip the bread, and that one the best adjectives, yeah, okay. You know which one I mean.

Speaker 2:

Well, I make like three different kinds of soup.

Speaker 1:

Okay, what kinds of soup I?

Speaker 2:

make chicken noodle soup.

Speaker 1:

Okay, Potato soup and cheesy broccoli soup. Potato soup is that.

Speaker 2:

With potatoes. Yeah, okay, yeah.

Speaker 1:

I thought it was the one with broccoli. Which one is the one with broccoli?

Speaker 2:

With cheesy broccoli.

Speaker 1:

Okay, yeah.

Speaker 2:

What's the one you like?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I like all three. I think I don't know if I had all three, but I would assume that I like them all.

Speaker 2:

I feel like you probably have by now, yeah.

Speaker 1:

I don't know, but I know I had soup here and I liked it.

Speaker 2:

Okay.

Speaker 1:

And also salad. I mean, salad is good, but I don't feel, as you know, full.

Speaker 2:

I don't get that, I think.

Speaker 1:

I have a lot feel, as you know, full. I don't get that a lot, yeah, but I I never get that uh full stomach feeling from salad okay, and it doesn't really give me that feeling good while eating it okay that good feeling does it maybe give you the feeling that you're making a good decision? Maybe afterwards, hmm, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Okay, I'm proud of you. You made a good decision. Hmm, this was a good choice.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, for my body. Yeah, I guess that might be it.

Speaker 2:

Okay, okay, number five Hmm. The tough part. Wow Make the decision.

Speaker 1:

Oh no.

Speaker 2:

Choose the option that aligns best with your objectives. Objections Objections.

Speaker 1:

Objection so Sustained.

Speaker 2:

Are you picking pizza, lasagna, cheeseburger soup or salad? That's a lot of options now.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

You went from two to five.

Speaker 1:

This is more difficult now. Wasn't this going to help? I want the good feeling and I want to feel full and I don't want to feel bad. So I guess the soup.

Speaker 2:

Soup is good.

Speaker 1:

Soup is good.

Speaker 2:

Okay. So number six is take action, implement your decision and monitor its results. We need to have some soup and see how you feel afterwards.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and monitor, monitor, you, monitor. I'm going to ask you, like every Monitor.

Speaker 2:

Neither of us can talk.

Speaker 1:

No, I know this isn't working Stroke.

Speaker 2:

Okay, but we need to have soup and I'm going to monitor you, yeah. Like every three minutes.

Speaker 1:

Have like a.

Speaker 2:

A heart rate monitor and everything. Oh, okay, yeah.

Speaker 1:

I thought you would have like a camera and film me. That too, yeah.

Speaker 2:

I'm going to ask you many times how are you feeling?

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, how are you feeling? Is this good, what's bad, what?

Speaker 2:

don't you like right now? Yeah, that's true, this is a YouTube video.

Speaker 1:

You should do that with all my foods that I listed all five of them.

Speaker 2:

Okay, this is what we're going to do for our first YouTube video.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, see me eat. For how long? 10 minutes yeah.

Speaker 2:

Last one, number seven, reflect Afterward, reflect on the outcome and learn from the experience to improve future decisions. So if you decide soup is your thing, maybe that's all you should ever eat, okay?

Speaker 1:

Wow, that would be sad.

Speaker 2:

I only eat soup.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm on a soup diet yeah, only soup for me, oh my soup for me.

Speaker 2:

I mean, imagine the weight you would lose oh yeah, that's maybe you should go on a soup diet maybe I should should we do a soup diet together?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, diarrhea buddies. Can I keep that no?

Speaker 2:

Gross. Maybe we'll have bread. We'll have some bread just to like, have something.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Solid.

Speaker 1:

Otherwise we know like, yeah, I have to go to the bathroom. I know what you're doing.

Speaker 2:

Remember, matias, remember, remember. Hmm, I'm telling you to the bathroom. I know what you're doing.

Speaker 1:

Remember, Matthias.

Speaker 2:

Remember, remember, I'm telling you, remember.

Speaker 1:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

It's okay to seek advice from others or take your time if needed. Trust your instincts, but also rely on rational analysis. So hold on Just wondering now if we're going to go through all of these foods and film you. It's going to be one after the other. Are you going to have like a whole pizza and then like a ton of lasagna and a cheeseburger?

Speaker 1:

I'm thinking that it's different weeks, okay.

Speaker 2:

Okay, so I have to film you like five weeks in a row. Yeah, and then put it together at the end of the month.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, Okay, and it would be cool if you can do like I did with the jackie chan video, that I'm starting to take a bite of one thing and then just switch it to another I'm not sure how talented I am Home home Like pizza soup bread. It would be funny.

Speaker 2:

I mean at least as an intro. Maybe that would be cool.

Speaker 1:

I have a pizza here home and then.

Speaker 2:

Then you have to use the other hand, the other hand with like a Lasagna.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, lasagna Cheeseburger home Fun idea. We'll see, we'll see. Yeah, lasagna Cheeseburger, Fun idea.

Speaker 2:

We'll see. We'll see yeah.

Speaker 1:

So are we about done?

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, I guess that was the end of that. This is good, right, I'm out of sips.

Speaker 1:

Me too.

Speaker 2:

You're also out of sips, so that means that it's time to wrap this up.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

So do you have anything? To say to the people I do and just have to think about it. Um, if you made it this far into the episode and you kind of enjoyed it, go on to our instagram. Go on our instagram and comment on a post. Do not private message me.

Speaker 2:

Speaker 1:

I? Oh, yeah, yeah, I have to read her name, heather, because she's out there. Can I? Oh, yeah, yeah, I have to read her name.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's a requirement.

Speaker 1:

I mean, she has been here with us and we said her name.

Speaker 2:

She's been a guest a couple times yeah. And she said I like grapefruits. Occasionally I'll make salmon with a grapefruit salsa, but I don't do it often because I don't like how messy it is. Grapefruits can be very juicy and that's what we got about grapefruits.

Speaker 1:

I don't know how much I don't. I'm not sure I've tasted grapefruit, have I.

Speaker 2:

Not for me, because I don't like them that much.

Speaker 1:

No.

Speaker 2:

I think they have a weird taste.

Speaker 1:

I'm not even sure what it is it's it's a fruit, or is it a fish?

Speaker 2:

It's not a fish.

Speaker 1:

No.

Speaker 2:

What.

Speaker 1:

I don't know, it's a grapefruit, oh.

Speaker 2:

Speaker 1:

I'm here. Hi Grapefruit, yep Okay.

Speaker 2:

Sure.

Speaker 1:

Wait, okay, that looks like a blood orange.

Speaker 2:

But it's not.

Speaker 1:

No, okay, because I had that. I don't know about that. It's a bit pinker. Okay, I was going to sneeze, you don't have to cry.

Speaker 2:

I was going to sneeze and it never came.

Speaker 1:

Okay, okay, so you don't like grapefruit.

Speaker 2:

Not, really no.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I don't know, I don't think I had it. So.
