Speaker 2:After the gym and everything, not eating for half the day. Half an hour, half an hour. Yeah, I'm going to fast for about half an hour. It's not a break, it's officially a fast, because I'm intentionally not eating. Maybe that's what fasting is. It's intentionally not eating. I mean sure I could say I'm taking a break whenever I want, but this is an intentional not eating. I mean sure I could say I'm taking a break whenever I want. Yeah, but this is an intentional not eating break. Yeah, true, true, true.
Speaker 2:Today we're going to define words.
Speaker 1:Okay, in different ways. Yeah, sure, fasting.
Speaker 2:Fasting.
Speaker 1:Oh, we should do deep dive about fasting.
Speaker 2:We're getting a little way obsessed over here.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that could be like a plan B, I guess.
Speaker 2:So If nothing else pops up that's what we'll do. What are your thoughts on fasting? What's your point of view? Is it something you've tried?
Speaker 1:No, not like intentional, not strictly like that. No, I have not Okay.
Speaker 2:Not strictly like that.
Speaker 1:No, I have not Okay, but you know when I lost all this weight 10 years ago? I'm always talking about that.
Speaker 2:Yeah, well, it's a big part of your life.
Speaker 1:It was a really big part of my life, and then I just didn't eat as much, and sometimes I I mean and that included, like taking breaks from eating, since I but I didn't stop eating, for, like you know, I didn't like count hours or days or whatever people do, I don't get it. Yeah, but no, so I haven't done fasting that way okay, have you.
Speaker 2:I do on a regular right now yeah but you haven't done that before it's been off and on since, like what I think I had started, maybe in 2018 okay, so you have done it before. Yeah.
Speaker 1:But what does fasting mean? It's I mean, does it mean that you can't eat anything?
Speaker 2:Well, anything that is going to Like something to do with insulin.
Speaker 1:Oh.
Speaker 2:Like make insulin, Anything that will make you make insulin, I think.
Speaker 1:Okay.
Speaker 2:And um.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I'm too stupid to know what makes me make insulin or not.
Speaker 2:Well, I'm not sure.
Speaker 1:This is where we should do a deep dive, yeah maybe, so this is our guess, yeah. Okay, you should do a deep dive?
Speaker 2:Yeah, maybe, so this is our guess. Yeah, okay, so you can drink like water and coffee and tea If you need to, like feel like you're eating something. It's not really eating, it's really still drinking. But you can have like a broth, like a meat or bone broth.
Speaker 1:Oh yeah.
Speaker 2:Because that's what I did when I was fasting before my doctor's appointment.
Speaker 1:I remember that, yes, that was difficult, I just sit there, doesn't sound too nice, no.
Speaker 2:Well, no, during that lunch I didn't eat anything, I just had my water bottle. I just drank my water, but for dinner I had like a broth from chicken noodle soup. I was watching everyone else eat their chicken noodle soup and I was like I just got the soup.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:I only got the soup, so I was just feeling really sad.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that's pretty much it. You can't really eat anything.
Speaker 1:Okay At all. Okay, no, then I haven't been fasting.
Speaker 2:No, okay, okay. Yeah, I usually stop eating around like seven and then I'll eat at lunch.
Speaker 1:Okay, yes, but you were talking about us fasting for 24 hours, and does that mean not eating anything, right?
Speaker 2:Yes, okay, well, would you have examples of what might be an exception?
Speaker 1:Well, would you have examples of what might be an exception? No, I don't know. That's how I interpreted it, that we wouldn't eat anything, so that sounds like a challenge.
Speaker 2:It is a challenge. You probably shouldn't jump to 24 hours, though. I mean, if you're going to fast, you might want to like slowly build up those hours, because those first few times are miserable.
Speaker 1:Yeah, but I'm not like other people when it comes to hunger, though.
Speaker 2:Okay.
Speaker 1:Because when I'm hungry it just goes away.
Speaker 2:Okay.
Speaker 1:You know like.
Speaker 2:You just think of something else.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I mean I'm like, oh, I'm so hungry, and then like five. I mean I'm like, oh, I'm so hungry, and then like five minutes later I'm like I'm not hungry anymore. And I don't think I get very grumpy and stuff like that either.
Speaker 2:So maybe it would be a fun experiment to see what would happen. I am a healthcare professional, so if you have questions, you can ask me.

So I answered it and answered it amsterdam yeah, I amsterdam, the damn thing I am. I answered the thing, okay, the phone the thing.
Speaker 2:I call my phone the thing oh, I, I thought I had a different name oh no, phony phony was the name of your phone. Yeah, that's right yeah, I remember, because I just re-listened to that episode the other day I was like that's a funny name, Anyhow, anyway.
Speaker 1:It was the union.

Speaker 1:They said is this Matias? And I'm like yeah.

Speaker 1:Yeah, this is Matias' dad. He's sick today.

Speaker 1:He's having issues yeah, uh, no, and I'm like, yes, this is Mattias. She's like, yeah, welcome to the union. She said welcome.

Speaker 1:To the union. Uh-huh, I got that part and I'm like yeah, thank you. Then she asked so do you have any questions about the union and such? And I'm like not.
Speaker 2:Can I keep my job? I'm not sure they can answer that Can you save me? Yeah, save me. Help, why? Why You're so wise.
Speaker 1:No. So I'm like, no, I don't have questions. And she's like, okay, good, you have a nice day. Bye-bye, They've never called me. Okay, that's so funny yeah, that must be a new thing and you became a member, like months ago yeah so that's weird yeah and uh, but yeah, and it was kind of funny that she said, okay, good, good that they don't have questions, because I don't want to answer.
Speaker 2:I don't have answers.
Speaker 1:I don't want to answer you, dude. That's what she said Dude.
Speaker 2:Okay, I'm glad that she had time to fit in the dude. Yeah.
Speaker 1:Then she's like now I'm going to catch a wave. She was a surfer, Was she Australian?

Speaker 2:All right, thank you. I'm hoping that future Lauren reference yeah, when it comes. Okay, so that was my story about the union. Okay, the union calling, okay. I don't think I have any stories about the union sidetrack here, as if we weren't enough, who comes back to work and goes immediately back into work yeah you don't get back into your station and fix things up so that they're the way you need them to be?
Speaker 2:I don't know, for us maybe check teams, for I don't know any kind of messages. I can tell you that I never go straight into work when I get back from a break.
Speaker 1:No.
Speaker 2:I mean, yeah, I can understand that if I'm super busy, especially here when I'm cleaning and stuff, I'm like working my butt off to clean the place and everyone else is just sitting around doing nothing, then, yeah, I'll get kind of frustrated.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:It's like is anyone going to help me, or do I have to do everything by myself? Do I know? Is that something I'm supposed to do? Is that the expectation of me to do everything?
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:During the what 48 hours that I get in the weekend.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:I'm expected to, like Tasmanian devil, clean the place.
Speaker 1:Oh yeah.
Speaker 2:And grocery shopping and oh well planning meals as well.
Speaker 1:That's what I feel like, honestly, you do that as well. Spinning around. And that's what I feel like, honestly, you do that as well.
Speaker 2:Except, instead of spinning, it's the spray.
Speaker 1:Oh.
Speaker 2:It's the cleaning. Yeah, that's what I'm doing. That is an accurate description of what my cleaning style looks like.
Speaker 1:And I am literally bouncing all over the place because ADHD, okay yeah, and when you're spinning around, you have like a vacuum and and the mop following right after. I'm like an octopus yeah.
Speaker 2:God, that would be so nice.

Speaker 2:That's correct. Let's talk about our week okay let's update the world on what we've been up to okay, so we're gonna start on saturday we went to the gym we did yep, we did pretty good. Yeah, good, I think so. Is that russian good, good, good no I don't do accents at all, but I can pretend that I do or just do my own yeah I make up my own accents and call it russian yeah, uh, you don't speak russian, no no, no, that's like french no, russian, russian, russian oh, that's my language, that's my accent.
Speaker 2:If I ever do an accent, it's freshen, freshen. Um, so we went to the gym and we did great, and then you went home, I guess yeah nothing exciting. I don't think I did anything that fun.
Speaker 1:No, I did some editing in the evening.
Speaker 2:Right. What about Sunday?
Speaker 1:I did some editing. I actually finished the episode, and then I finished another video that's gonna be published next month.
Speaker 2:Awesome.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and on Saturday, when I did the first part, I had such a headache.
Speaker 2:Oh yeah, that's not great.
Speaker 1:No, but I felt like it had to be done, otherwise I'm gonna have almost like two parts on Sunday, yeah.
Speaker 2:On Sunday I went to the summer cabin.
Speaker 1:Oh yeah.
Speaker 2:With my family and, yeah, we had some food and it was good.
Speaker 1:Grilling.
Speaker 2:We grilled some pork Pork Pork it was good, it was very good. And then some pork Pork Pork it was good, it was very good. And then Monday happened. Yeah, that was a day.
Speaker 1:It was a good day at work for me, okay, yeah. Because you were where you're supposed to be.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and I guess it was a good day for me too, because I went back to my department as well and we both had a pretty chill day.
Speaker 1:Yeah, the only problem I had was my blisters on my heels.
Speaker 2:Oh, yeah, because you're wearing your new shoes.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:New shoes are no fun. No, they're good, but they hurt.
Speaker 1:They're getting better now, though Good, but Tuesday was even worse. Mm-hmm, better now though, so good, and but tuesday was even worse. Uh, yeah, so I I had a weird walk. I guess, since my leg hurts right now or my calf is like I it feels like a wooden leg, wooden calf calf, calf, wooden calf, calf, calf.
Speaker 2:Calf, yep, yeah, tuesday also happened.
Speaker 1:Yeah, not a great day.
Speaker 2:No Wednesday, we went to the gym again and that went well.
Speaker 1:That went very well.
Speaker 2:We were biking, we biked, and then I did some wall sits.
Speaker 1:Oh yeah.
Speaker 2:And you just sat on a ball.
Speaker 1:I sat on a ball.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that was okay, and you just sat on a ball. I sat on a ball, yeah, that was okay, I was okay with that, yeah, as long as you were still hanging out with me while I was trying to do something.
Speaker 1:I was trying to be funny.

Speaker 1:Okay, and did something else happen.
Speaker 2:I don't know, I really I have no idea.
Speaker 1:This week was just a week to me.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it wasn't a great week.
Speaker 1:Yesterday, it wasn't a great week.
Speaker 2:Yesterday, it was not a great day. Oh, it was so slow, everything was so slow.
Speaker 1:The entire day was so slow.
Speaker 2:And now I'm wondering if Thursdays are like, at least the work day, are more like I don't know Mondays or Tuesdays now.
Speaker 1:Yeah, some people say that Tuesday's worse.
Speaker 2:I usually think that Tuesday is worse than Monday. Okay, now Well, we have a long day at work, so then Tuesday feels On Monday yes, yeah so then Tuesday feels like you've already been working for two days, so it feels like Wednesday, but it's only Tuesday.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I think Monday is the worst one, since it is so long.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Especially, you know, in the afternoon, when, after the last break, when we have over two hours until the day is finished.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's been a week.
Speaker 1:Yeah, today is Friday.
Speaker 2:It's been a meh week. Not that exciting.
Speaker 1:Today is Friday, it's been a little bit better today.
Speaker 2:It has been better today.
Speaker 1:Compared to yesterday.
Speaker 2:It's been a great day compared to yesterday.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Do we want to give updates on our health?
Speaker 1:Yeah, maybe.
Speaker 2:How's the weight loss going for you?
Speaker 1:Pretty good. I mean, I'm almost down at the all-year low.
Speaker 2:Okay, that's the lowest you've been all year.
Speaker 1:Yeah, okay, and that was last week you got there. Yeah, yeah, because it was when I was sick.
Speaker 2:Mm-hmm Homesick Right.
Speaker 1:Not homesick.
Speaker 2:No Homesick. You can't be homesick while you're still at home.
Speaker 1:No, I want to go home, but you're already home.
Speaker 2:I want to go to bed.
Speaker 1:You're already in bed. No, I'm on the scale. No way, no. So, and that was my sick weight, so I don't know if that counts. I guess it counts. It has to count, to count, yeah, but then I gained that again after.
Speaker 2:So so you yeah gained, but you have still lost since you gained.
Speaker 1:Yes, exactly so.
Speaker 2:I'm almost at that level, so close okay, so you lost half a kilo throughout the week, which is, I think that's healthy, that's the normal amount you're supposed to lose. And what about me? Yeah, what about me? I lost two kilos throughout the week, which is not as healthy as you.
Speaker 1:It is healthy, healthier. You lost more than me.
Speaker 2:Yeah, but not in a healthy way.
Speaker 1:I don't know. I'm not eating as healthy as you are, I still eat some bad things.
Speaker 2:I may be getting a little obsessive. Yeah, which is nothing new With the weight. Yeah, I've always been like an obsessive kind of person. I will obsess over things. That's just what I do.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:I focus on one thing and I drive it into the ground. So that's what I'm doing with this, okay, I think Driving it into the ground. I'm going to crash and I'm going to burn.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Or I'm going to reach my weight goals and everything's going to be great for the rest of my life.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Which I mean I did kind of manage to do a couple of days ago I got my all year low.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Well, today is Friday, mm-hmm Friday. Friday, I say Friday.
Speaker 1:Friday.
Speaker 2:Hey Friday.
Speaker 1:Friday Friday.
Speaker 2:It is September 20th 2024.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:And we watched movies. We did yeah.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:You don't? Yes, I do. Are you quitting?
Speaker 1:But it's not often enough.
Speaker 2:No, we need more movie nights Aw.
Speaker 1:No, it's good. Once a week is good, and sometimes it's movie days as well.
Speaker 2:That's too much as well, okay.
Speaker 1:Okay, that's enough. That's enough. Do you want to movie on?
Speaker 2:I would like to movie on let's movie on.
Speaker 1:I would like to move me on.
Speaker 2:Let's move on all right, let's do that. Yeah, that was a little weird, but I'll keep it anyway. So today we watched the whole 10 yards and sergeant pepper's lonely arts club band. Yes, I nailed that one. I hardly had to think about it, it just rolled off the tongue yeah so I'm gonna what no, I'm. I'm just thinking of a stupid video, okay cool, so I'm gonna tell you about the whole 10 yards. This is a movie. It has bruce willis. It is a sequel to last week's movie the whole nine yards yards.
Speaker 1:Oh, now I get it.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it makes sense now. So in this movie you have the same characters and the same actor to one of the characters last movie, but he's a different character now.
Speaker 1:Yeah, he plays the dad now A dad, yeah, the dad to the character from last movie.
Speaker 2:Yeah, so that character is a bad guy and he kidnaps Matthew Perry's wife, who happens to be Bruce Willis' ex-wife in the movie, not in real life.
Speaker 1:Exactly.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and they go to save her, and there's some twists and turns throughout the movie that are very exciting.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and it's also a comedy.
Speaker 2:It's a comedy. It is funny. I laughed, I enjoyed it and that's all I'm going to say. I liked the movie it was a good one yeah. It was funny.
Speaker 1:Good your turn. Yeah, I also laughed and I also thought it was funny. I'm thinking about the character you were talking about. He played his father in this movie. He didn't really look like what he looked like in the last movie, though. No, they did some makeup on his face so he was really unrecognizable, but you could see his eyes. Oh, okay, do you know who I'm talking about? In the last movie.
Speaker 2:Well, kind of I remember the character, but I don't remember the character's face. Oh, okay, anyhow, that's funny.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I thought it was funny. How did you think it was compared to the last movie?
Speaker 2:I thought Bruce Willis' character was a little bit more funny in this one. Plot-wise, I can't tell you.
Speaker 1:No, okay, I have to say that I kind of like this one better than the first one.
Speaker 2:It was really good.
Speaker 1:Yeah, but I also noticed now. I have not noticed that that much before, but it feels like Matthew Perry's character was almost a little bit too clumsy in this one he was very clumsy yeah, in the last one he was more like funny, sarcastic and, you know, scared. He wasn't as clumsy in that that one, but in this one he's like ooh, whoa, I'm falling and everything. Yeah, or yeah, you know.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:It was almost a little. Too much, too much, but I still like this movie a little bit better than the first one.
Speaker 2:Good, good, yeah, that's it. Yeah, I think so.
Speaker 1:And then we have the other movie.
Speaker 2:You don't know the title.
Speaker 1:Yes, sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
Speaker 2:Right.
Speaker 1:Yes, it's a long title and I almost always say Dr Peppers, but it's, that's wrong. Yeah, it's supposed to be Sgt Pepper's, so this movie is about four guys that comes from this little town and are about to hit it big. They're gonna be huge stars and there's an evil evil bad guy who wants to stop them and they have to track down like musical instruments.
Speaker 2:Yeah, because the bad guy hid the instruments they had to go find them.
Speaker 1:Oh yeah, that's very evil. You can tell it's a bad guy if he hides the instruments, yeah. So, yeah, other things happen and there's a whole lot of known people, cameos and famous people in this movie Celebrities. So three of the four main characters are the Bee Gees guys. Yeah, and another guy Then we have, like Alice Cooper.
Speaker 2:Mm-hmm.
Speaker 1:Aerosmith, yes, and Earth, wind and Fire. It's 70s, I might add Mm. If people didn't already know George Burns, he was the narrator. Yeah mayor yeah, steve martin oh, that's a good one. His character was also a little bit over the top or way over the top maybe not just a little bit it was very steve martin of him. Sometimes he can be too over the top, though.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and this was that.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, it was kind of when you realized who he was. Yeah, then it was like yeah, of course.
Speaker 2:That makes sense. Yeah, I just wish that he would have sung the song as it was supposed to be instead of overacting it.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that's true. He wasn't really singing either. No, it was more like talk.
Speaker 2:Talk singing.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and he can sing.

Speaker 2:My problem with the movie is that I compared shock treatment to Rocky Horror way too much, when they really should be treated as individual movies.

Speaker 1:So I do understand that and like the Armor of God movies. The first two are like Rocky Horror for me because, I grew up with them, and then the third one came out when I was an adult and I didn't like that movie that much at all, actually, and that's the one you like the best of the three.

Speaker 2:Right, well, you can do better tomorrow, so I'm gonna teach you self-care how to take care of yourself. Here are some self-care ideas to help you relax, recharge and prioritize your well-being, Brought to you by Open Eyes.

Speaker 2:Starting off. How do you care for yourself? Do you take any me time? Do you do anything special to take care of yourself?
Speaker 1:No, no, I don't take care of myself.
Speaker 2:That's not good. Okay, self, no, no, I don't take care of myself. That's not good, okay. So my first point is physical self-care.
Speaker 1:Okay, so get active.
Speaker 2:I do that. Yeah, we've actually gotten really good at being active.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Go for a walk, jog or bike ride. Try yoga, dancing or swimming.
Speaker 1:Not swimming. I don't like that.
Speaker 2:No, okay, but you walk and jog and bike ride, yeah, and yoga. I guess in a way the stretching is a form of yoga.
Speaker 1:I don't do much stretching though.
Speaker 2:Once a week is something.
Speaker 1:Barely.
Speaker 2:It's an attempt, Okay. Also, nourish your body. Eat a balanced diet, stay hydrated and get enough sleep. I can check off one of these that I do. I stay hydrated okay, yeah, good for you yeah, I do not eat a balanced diet or get enough sleep.
Speaker 2:I plan on doing better yeah, sleep is hard to get sleep is definitely not gonna happen ever, because I always plan on going to bed at a certain time to you know, make it so I can get a good night's sleep, but I always end up falling asleep after that time.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:And also we're up in the middle of the night while recording, yeah, so that's definitely not getting a good night's sleep Anything else.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I don't get enough sleep either. What was the rest?
Speaker 2:Eat a balanced diet and stay hydrated.
Speaker 1:Not really.
Speaker 2:No, not good, All right. Another one Practice relaxation, Try deep breathing meditation or progressive muscle relaxation. I don't know what that one is.
Speaker 1:Sounds good.
Speaker 2:Yeah, do you practice deep breathing?
Speaker 1:No, okay, I can't say.
Speaker 2:Do you want to?

But no, it's supposed to be all equal. So you breathe in for four, you hold for four, breathe out for four, hold for four.

Speaker 1:Hold it out, so you breathe in, hold your breath, breathe out, hold breath out.
Speaker 2:Yes, yeah, I'm gonna say yes.

Speaker 1:I don't.
Speaker 2:No, okay. So the next section is mental and emotional self-care, which is arguably the most important.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Because I mean, if you don't feel good mentally, then you really don't want to do anything.
Speaker 1:No, I get it, the losing weight thing. It's very much a mental thing.
Speaker 2:It takes lots of mental strength. Yes, it takes lots of mental strength.
Speaker 1:Yes.
Speaker 2:To get out there to do the thing, keep doing the thing and dealing with the pain.
Speaker 1:Yeah, if there is pain, I'm not sure that meditation would help that much.
Speaker 2:It can help clear your mind in a way Okay, because you really just focus on your breathing. I mean sure, if other thoughts come along, you can acknowledge that it was a thought and then just continue focusing on your breathing. But the mental part is really important, I think honestly I'm not sure if it's. I mean, obviously the mental part is a huge part, but I think that the support is also a huge part.
Speaker 1:Sorry, I'm not thinking of words.
Speaker 2:No, but do you know what I mean?
Speaker 1:Yeah, I think I know what you mean. The support from friends and family are important.
Speaker 2:Yeah, because I mean, without your motivation and the slight competitiveness, I don't know if I'd even be going to the gym.
Speaker 1:Okay.
Speaker 2:And with my life partner supporting me trying to better myself. I mean, if he wasn't okay with that, then I definitely wouldn't be going to the gym at all.
Speaker 1:No.
Speaker 2:Or doing anything physical.
Speaker 1:I understand where you're coming from, but I'm not sure I would agree, since I have done this journey before on my own and I didn't have that much support. Sure, I told people not to buy me things, but that was still my choice. Not to eat. Buy me things, but that was still my choice not to eat, and when I don't eat, people stop buying me those things if they would. So yeah, I don't know, but then again you have a more complex life than I have.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I can't just get up and go whenever I want to.
Speaker 1:No.
Speaker 2:But I think us going through this together has been really helpful. Good, it's better with a friend than going alone right, yeah. Let's talk about mental health. Spend time in nature, Go for a hike, sit in a park or simply enjoy the outdoors. We like to do those things.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I like the outdoors.
Speaker 2:We like walking in the woods.
Speaker 1:Yes.
Speaker 2:It's fun, always nice.
Speaker 1:Yeah, we've been walking the road at my place for a couple times now. Yeah, times, did I say times or towns?
Speaker 2:I hope. I'm pretty sure you said times.
Speaker 1:Oh good, yeah yeah.
Speaker 2:That's been good, and we also do the trails in the woods.
Speaker 1:Yes, we do. We should do more of those.

Speaker 2:That's something you enjoy, that's a hobby and you're editing your videos yeah. That's a hobby. Good, keep doing that. If it makes you happy, it can't be that bad. Do you like to paint?
Speaker 1:Not really.
Speaker 2:Oh okay, what about like painting houses, or like walls or something? Not really Okay, and or something Not really Okay and you don't play an instrument.

Speaker 2:No, me neither. I want to be good at playing piano. That would be good, yeah, but I'm not Okay, here's something that counters your hobbies though. Limit screen time, reduce your exposure to electronic devices, that'll improve your mental health.
Speaker 2:I don't think it's just the lights, but it might just be like the social media because, people will scroll and, scroll and scroll all day, and it's not good for you, no, and it can make you, like, feel sad for yourself because all the pictures are like perfect and everyone looks perfect and you're like, I want that too.
Speaker 1:I want perfect.
Speaker 2:I want to be perfect. Why am I not out living my life? Why am I just sitting here scrolling on my phone? So don't spend too much time on social media.
Speaker 1:It's what I'm going to say. You say while scrolling your phone Right, perfect.
Speaker 2:Next is practice gratitude. Focus on the positive things in life. What are you thankful for? It's a bit early for this question but we're here anyway, I already asked.
Speaker 1:I don't know. What am I thankful for? That's a good question. I wish I had a good answer. I guess I'm thankful for being alive.

Speaker 2:If you happen to stop at the next red light that you stop at or stop sign. No, this would work better at a red light.
Speaker 1:Red red, red A red red red light. Yeah.
Speaker 2:Roll down your window and start screaming at the person next to you, the nearest person.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:And motion for them to roll down their window, yeah. And then you can scream at them, say hi, I am listening to the greatest podcast ever. It's called Roasty Toasty Ghosty, and you should listen to it too. And then you can say have a great day, bestie. And then roll up your window and zoom away whether it's still red, or not?
Speaker 1:Just get out of there. The lights have been both red and green several times everyone's honking behind you hey y'all get out of your car and start knocking on windows. You have to tell everyone behind you too yeah, you should have like notes and you know you can hand out, oh yeah, like flyers or maybe like cue cards just like hold up at the light, I don't know it's really weird.
