In a world where everything is unscripted. This is Roasty Toasty Ghost. So would you have applied if they still had the biggest loser?
Speaker 2Maybe, but I don't think I would get in. No, I don't think I'd qualify.
Speaker 1No, you're too thin for that.
Speaker 2But I feel like a big loser. I thought this was competition for nerds. Yeah, now I get it, so I would fit right in. Yeah, that's what I was applying for I'm one of the biggest losers right in. Yeah, that's what I was applying for.
Speaker 1Yeah, I'm one of the biggest losers of Sweden. Yeah, I thought we were playing games.
Speaker 2Computer games I'm a really bad loser.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2What about Robinson?
Speaker 1I'd rather do Farman, that's true.
Speaker 2Yeah, let's apply for Farman. Farman, that's true. Yeah, let's apply for Farman.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2That's kind of like a weight loss camp, right? Yeah, they starve on that show.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2Yeah, that one would be a lot more fun. I just want to play with the animals all day.
Speaker 1Yeah, robinson doesn't feel like it's, it feels a bit more extreme. Yeah, I don't, it feels a bit more extreme. Yeah, they're on the beaches all the time and you know, what I think about beaches. I don't like the beaches.
Speaker 2No, I don't like the beaches.
Speaker 1I don't like the beaches. They're too hot. I don't like the hot beaches Not for me. I like the hot beaches Not for me. I like the woods 1-1-3. Yeah.
Speaker 2We're at 1-13.
Speaker 1Scary 13.
Speaker 2No I. It's 1-hundred-13.
Speaker 1It's still 13,. But you know I like 13. It's a good number. It's my number. Mm-hmm, it's my number I had it first.
Speaker 2I had it first. I had it first no, yeah, I was born with it.
Speaker 1I got it in August 1991. That's when I got my first 13.
Speaker 2Okay.
Speaker 1So when did you get your 13?
Speaker 2Were you 13 kilos then.
Speaker 1Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 2You were a heavy baby.
Speaker 1No, no, no.
Speaker 2You're like ale.
Speaker 1I gained I gained.
Speaker 2You gained 13 kilos. Yeah, At what? Six months? Yeah, oh man, Not good. And so what was your 13?
Speaker 1It was um what I'm listening. Yes, I will answer.
Speaker 2I'm, I'm listening.
Speaker 1Yes, I will answer.
Speaker 2I'm patiently awaiting your response.
Speaker 1Yes, you will get it All right. I was born 91, right.
Speaker 2Uh-huh.
Speaker 1Nine plus one is 10.
Speaker 2Cool.
Speaker 1And then month was two, february, uh-huh, and then 21. So two plus two are four minus 1, the last one and that's 3. And 10 plus 3 is 13. So that's where 13 is my number.
Speaker 2You lost me a long time ago.
Speaker 1Yeah, it doesn't make sense but Okay sure. I just wanted it to be 13,. So I did math my own way and I got there.
Speaker 2I guess. So Anyway, anyway, anyway.
Speaker 1Should we start this soon? No, no, let's talk more. Numbers yeah, let's do some math. Let's make this a math episode.
Speaker 2I don't like it. No, I know it hasn't even started and I don't like it.
Speaker 1No, I know it hasn't even started, and I don't like it. No One, one, three.
Speaker 2One, one, three, all right, let's start this. Okay, Very cool, we have our own individual beverages today.
Speaker 1Yeah, cheers, cheers, bonk, bonk-a-bonk.
Speaker 2Hello and welcome to Roasty Toasty Ghosty. What were we saying about lines? Don't you remember your lines? I don't remember my lines. My name is Lauren.
Speaker 1And I am Matthias.
Speaker 2And we are your hosties. Also, we're going to be your best friends for the next hour or so. Yep, this is going to be a really fun episode, I think. Maybe, possibly. Let's hope so.
Speaker 1Yeah, I don't know what it's going to be about, but no, me neither. Okay, so it's going to be fun, cool Fun, so stick around for the're gonna stick around.
Speaker 2Yeah, you're not gonna leave in the middle.
Speaker 1I was planning on it before, but now I'm too curious to leave.
Speaker 2Matias yes, how are you doing?
Speaker 1I'm doing good, I'm doing well. Which one? I say well because doing good it sounds more like I'm trying to do good for others and I'm not. I'm just doing well. I'm feeling well, I'm not well, well, well, well Well. Okay, yeah, so I'm doing well. I'm not doing good for others, just for myself.
Speaker 2Okay, and how?
Speaker 1are you doing? I am doing good, oh, for others, just for myself, okay, and how are you doing?
Speaker 2I am doing good.
Speaker 1Oh, for others.
Speaker 2For everyone who's listening. Okay, I'm doing them a favor.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2By providing entertainment.
Speaker 1Ah, okay, that's nice of you.
Speaker 2And since we're out of ghosty energy drinks, we are drinking our own beverages.
Speaker 1Yep.
Speaker 2I have a iced coffee.
Speaker 1And I have a monster.
Speaker 2Um, I have a question though.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2Did you have a favorite flavor of the ghosty energy drinks? Ghost energy drinks.
Speaker 1I'm thinking it might have been Sour Patch One of the, Because we had two Sour Patch Kids. It might have been that one actually.
Speaker 2The Cherry Sour Patch Kids.
Speaker 1Yeah, okay, I'll say that one. Which one did you like the best? Did you have a favorite?
Speaker 2Actually, I think my favorite would probably be between that one too, the cherry and the pink lemonade. Oh yeah, I like that one too.
Speaker 1It was fun to try them.
Speaker 2Yeah, it was a fun trend we had.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2And now it's over.
Speaker 1Yeah, oh well, end of an era.
Speaker 2Moving on.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2Moving on.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2Would you like to talk about the week?
Speaker 1Yeah, let's do that.
Speaker 2Okay.
Weekend Gym, Dating, and Reflections
Speaker 1Yeah, cool. What happened on Saturday for you, we. What happened on Saturday for you.
Speaker 2We went to the gym.
Speaker 1We did.
Speaker 2Question mark.
Speaker 1That was the day with your son.
Speaker 2Yeah, my son joined us at the gym.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2It was also my first day of the gymnastics season.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2Or for my group, that is mine that I created.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2Yeah, it was our first day. And then we went to the gym and oh no, okay, hold on. No, what happened on Saturday was that I taught gymnastics and you were out shopping with your mom.
Speaker 1Oh yes.
Speaker 2So at some point in between gymnastics and the gym, my daughter had convinced me to bring her and my oldest swimming, which I mean there's a swimming pool at the gym.
Speaker 1Yeah, it's the same building.
Speaker 2Yeah, so we did that, we went swimming. And then you came by, yeah, and my oldest and I dried off and went to the gym with you while my daughter continued playing in the water and it worked out pretty well. He seemed to enjoy it.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2He's interested in going again. Okay, which is a good sign. It is good. That's what happened. My life partner left with the car, so we all walked back to my place and what we just hung out, I guess. Yeah, I don't think we did anything.
Speaker 1No, it wasn't that long because it was on the way back.
Speaker 2Oh yeah, when we were walking.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2Yeah, so we hung out for a little bit, and then I brought you home.
Speaker 1Yeah, and at home I was going to run upstairs and I stumbled on the first step and fell and hit my knee, my good knee.
Speaker 2Ew.
Speaker 1Yeah, so now I have two bad knees oh, one hurts on the outside and the other one hurts on the inside and I thought I would get a big bruise on my knee, but I didn't. I just feel like I have a big bruise. The feeling of the bruise is there, but it's not visible.
Speaker 2No, okay.
Speaker 1I just got a tiny bruise on top of my knee, where I didn't get hurt even.
Speaker 2And I got kicked in the face at gymnastics.
Speaker 1Oh yeah.
Speaker 2That day as well.
Speaker 1And.
Speaker 2I did get a little bit of a bruise, but I really thought it would be worse.
Speaker 1Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2It does hurt though.
Speaker 1Yeah, so.
Speaker 2It still hurts.
Speaker 1Yeah, the same with my knee.
Speaker 2That was Saturday.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2And then Sunday.
Speaker 1Uneventful. I think it was uneventful for me at least.
Speaker 2Yep, I spent the day pretty much doing chores and being annoyed that no one else wanted to help out.
Speaker 1Okay, good day.
Speaker 2Yeah, my daughter went to gymnastics. I went grocery shopping. I picked up a pizza on the way home.
Speaker 1Oh.
Speaker 2I did not have any pizza.
Speaker 1Okay, I like pizza, okay, I like pizza.
Speaker 2I like pizza too, but I had picked up a salad while grocery shopping yeah so I was good. Then monday happened yeah oh my goodness, all week at work I've just been so bored I just I don't want to anymore. I feel the severe lack of motivation to continue.
Speaker 1We have like two months.
Speaker 2Something that is going to end.
Speaker 1Yeah, two months left. Yeah, Months left.
Speaker 2I mean I'm thinking a lot more of like what's going to come after, which makes me not so motivated to do what I'm doing now. It makes me want to be doing whatever I'm doing after.
Speaker 1Yeah, you want to start that.
Speaker 2Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1Yeah, I kind of feel the opposite. Well, I want to continue, I want to be there for as long as I can, so, but I've taken a few days off, though, but you had the right to take those days anyway. Yeah, that's true.
Speaker 2Tuesday happened.
Speaker 1Yeah, I think that's the day I had pizza and I actually ate pizza.
Speaker 2Oh, okay, yeah, no, I didn't.
Speaker 1No.
Speaker 2Wednesday, someone at work came in with a box they brought their lunch in, which is actually a candy box.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2And I looked at it for a little bit too long and it sparked this sugar demon within me and it started raging. So bad, I really want a candy.
Speaker 1Mm.
Speaker 2Yep and my life partner and I went out on a date oh yeah, on Wednesday you did. We celebrated eight years together. Sick child got to sleep over at my life partner's mom's house. So his grandmother, far more, far more His grandmother Farmore. Farmore and we went to this pretty fancy restaurant and ate pretty fancy food and I was on the fence on whether I should be good or not with this fancy food. So for my appetizer I had a salad, and then for my main course I had a salad, and then for my main course.
Speaker 2I had a salad, yeah, but with wine.
Speaker 1Yeah, you ruined it all with alcohol yes, I had white wine.
Speaker 2And then we had dessert as well and the waiter asked me if I wanted coffee with my dessert and I was like like, yes, with Baileys, I want Baileys with my coffee. Yeah, so I got a little bit tipsy.
Speaker 1Yeah, tipsy.
Speaker 2Tipsy and we walked to the cemetery afterwards.
Speaker 1Yeah, as you do.
Speaker 2As you do, not just because, but we're going to be here one day. No, because it happens to be the same day that my life partner's brother died. So, we went over and we said hi.
Speaker 1Yeah, it wasn't the same year as you guys met.
Speaker 2No, it was two years ago.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2Then we went to the car and we went grocery shopping. We went to a grocery store.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2And I wandered around being kind of drunk.
Speaker 1Yeah, amazed.
Speaker 2It's like, wow, there's so much bread. I want all the bread and all the candy, and I need ice cream, oh, but I need it on the way home. So we need spoons and candy.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2And I don't know other random things.
Speaker 1I guess. So now you have car spoons.
Speaker 2We have car spoons now. Long story short.
Speaker 1Awesome.
Speaker 2That was the main part of Wednesday.
Speaker 1Yeah, that's the important thing.
Speaker 2Yeah, oh, we picked up some lots. Ah Some lots.
Speaker 1Yes, yeah, I'm sure your sister will be happy to hear that.
Speaker 2Mm-hmm, but that's pretty much my Wednesday.
Speaker 1Yeah Cool.
Speaker 2No overtime this week.
Speaker 1No Kind of nice though. I mean. I want the money, but at the same time it's nice to get back home the time you're supposed to.
Speaker 2Yeah, thursday.
Speaker 1Thursday was yesterday.
Speaker 2Yes, I don't think anything that exciting happened.
Speaker 1No.
Speaker 2I went to gymnastics again for a different group and I got annoyed with one of the other members working there. And then I went home and there was dinner but I wasn't planning on eating because I had already eaten.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2But I got really hungry anyway, okay.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2And then I went spinning.
Speaker 1Oh yeah, yep, Just you, just me, is it, but it sounds like my son wants to join us too. Yeah, or join me too, yeah, I'm not going to join you. No, sorry.
Speaker 2That's too bad, but that's okay.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2We already go to the gym, but I figured I'm not doing adult gymnastics anymore, so I kind of need something.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2And today's Friday. It is not anything very exciting that happened today.
Speaker 1No.
Speaker 2Other than the fact that it was Friday or I mean, it still is Friday.
Speaker 1It is.
Speaker 2At the moment when we're recording this.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2It's January 24th 2025. You know, one thing did happen today.
Speaker 1Okay, what.
Speaker 2Two things happened today. What happened today. We watched movies.
Speaker 1We did, we did oh.
Speaker 2Would you like to movie on?
Speaker 1Let's movie on.
Speaker 2Let's movie on, then let's do that. We're going to do that, and that's what we're going to do.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2Okay, Tonight we watched Over the Hedge and Hell, so awesome. Yeah, so I'm going to tell you about Over the Hedge.
Speaker 1Yes.
Speaker 2This is a movie with Bruce Will willis. It's animated and he's a raccoon. Yep, so this is not a die-hard movie, it's not. No, we finished those. Yeah, so there's a group of woodland creatures, animals and, um, bruce willis the raccoon. He gets caught stealing from a bear a whole bunch of food. The bear was hibernating but woke up and found that Bruce Willis the raccoon was stealing his food, and Bruce Willis the raccoon just dumped all this food down a hill and it all got run over by a truck.
Speaker 2And of course the bear gets mad and Bruce Willis the raccoon, says that he's going to replace everything. So he finds this group of woodland animals and takes advantage of them by having them help him steal food from humans.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2The humans don't like him.
Speaker 1No.
Speaker 2And I think that's as far as I'm going to go.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2I guess Bruce Willis does still kind of beat up some bad guys. Yeah, in a way. In a way think that's as far as I'm going to go. Okay, I guess Bruce Willis, does still kind of beat up some bad guys. Yeah, in a way In a way, and that's all. Yep, yep. What did you think about the movie?
Speaker 1I thought it was very funny. I really like this movie. I haven't seen it that many times, but at least three or four. This is the first time I see it in English. Other this is the first time I see it in English. Other times I've seen it in Swedish and, yeah, it's fun. It has a lot of funny gags and I was laughing a few times here and there. So, yeah, I had a good time.
Speaker 2Good, how about you? I also enjoyed the movie. It was funny.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2I have also seen it before, but probably only once in theaters.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2Or it was a drive-in theater, so I watched it from inside a car.
Speaker 1Yeah, okay, yeah.
Speaker 2And that's always a fun experience.
Speaker 1Yeah, okay, I've never done that.
Speaker 2No, it's really something you should do sometime. It's a shame that the drive-in theaters are dying off, yeah, but yeah, it was a good movie yeah did you have anything else to say about it? Um no, I don't think so oh, I like the music yeah I like the the songs yeah in the movie they were good they were good.
Speaker 1I enjoyed them yeah, and I like the Steve Carell voice, the one he voiced.
Speaker 2The squirrel, yeah the little you know.
Speaker 1Energetic one yeah, hammy Yep, that was a fun character.
Speaker 2Yeah, yes, Okay, tell me about the other movie then. Yeah.
Speaker 1Let's move on to Hälsoria-san yeah, the health journey. So this is the fifth movie about Stig Helmer and his Norwegian friend Ole Bramserud. This time Stig Helmer has an addiction. He eats too much garbage Not literally garbage, but you know fast food and snacks and you know.
Speaker 2Like we do.
Speaker 1Like us. He's one of us now and so that's becoming a problem and he's neighbor to this woman who kind of invites him to this trip to this health spa, I guess, to this trip to this health spa, I guess. So he and Ole goes there and they do these different things. It's all kinds of things, it's meditation and fasting and yeah all the Yoga kind of yeah yeah. Exactly, yeah, it's Spa, it's a spa. It looks like fun.
Speaker 2I want to do that yeah it's Spa it's a spa. It looked like fun. I want to do that.
Speaker 1Okay, yeah, and you got inspired.
Speaker 2Yeah, I want to also go on some kind of weight loss camp.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2I called it a fat camp, but apparently you're not supposed to call it that.
Speaker 1I guess not.
Speaker 2A weight loss resort or something? Yeah, I think it would be that. I guess not A weight loss resort or something. Yeah, I think it would be fun.
Speaker 1I mean, fat camp is a funnier word.
Speaker 2Yeah, it's kind of direct to the point.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2You don't have to guess what it is.
Speaker 1No.
Speaker 2So that's something I want to do.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2And when I start teaching yoga, it's gonna be my own form of yoga called ping pong yoga.
Speaker 1Oh yeah, yeah, that's a quote from a movie.
Speaker 2Yeah, I'm gonna take it.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2Ping pong yoga.
Speaker 1Yes.
Speaker 2Where you close your eyes and you throw balls of energy around the room. Yeah, and hope for the best that you don't get hit by someone else's energy. Yeah, that would hurt, especially if they're angry. Anything else about this movie?
Speaker 1Yeah, maybe we should say what we thought about it.
Speaker 2Yes, yeah, I enjoyed this movie.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2It inspired, me. Yeah, it was also funny.
Speaker 1I feel like this is a step down from the other ones.
Speaker 2Yeah, maybe.
Speaker 1But it's fun to see Magnus Herrenstam back. Yeah, magnus, yeah.
Speaker 2I do find it concerning that there was what in the third movie he had a kid Steve.
Speaker 1Ganneman, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2And he was mentioned in the last movie and then this one everyone completely forgot that there was even a kid, yeah. That bothers me.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2What kind of father is he?
Speaker 1Yeah, you only really see him in the third one, right?
Speaker 2Yeah, but I'm pretty sure he was mentioned in the fourth one. Yeah, at least.
Speaker 1Yeah, yes, he was, but I think he was staying with Stig Helmer's mom. Yeah, yes, he was, but I think he was staying with.
Speaker 2Stieg Helmer's mom. Yeah, but in this one we completely forgot that this child exists.
Speaker 1I guess he lives with his mom, maybe. Maybe, Because that's the girl from the second movie.
Speaker 2Mm-hmm Snow Roller.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2And that's my thoughts about the movie.
Speaker 1Yeah, and the rich guy he plays golf against from the last movie is also back. Yeah, he tries to get richer.
Speaker 2Somehow.
Speaker 1Yeah, by doing this he was going to make like diet chips. Yeah, from chicken food or hensfood. Yeah chicken seed. Yeah, I think is whatensfoder.
Speaker 2Yeah, chicken seed yeah, I think is what it's called. Okay, but yeah, you're supposed to eat as much as you want and not feel bad about it, which sounds nice, but the ingredients didn't sound as good.
Speaker 1No, it's a good movie. It's not my favorite of these, it's still enjoyable.
Speaker 2It has not my favorite of these, it's still enjoyable it has some funny moments in it, yeah, and I think it would be fun to do something extreme and go to fat camp.
Speaker 1Yeah, yeah, or something similar, as long as we're not doing the boats.
Speaker 2Oh, we don't have to kayak, but I do want to do the mud bath.
Speaker 1Okay, that's okay.
Speaker 2Would you do a mud bath?
Speaker 1As long as it's not that deep.
Speaker 2No, it's a bathtub, yeah.
Speaker 1I know.
Speaker 2On this subject of health journeys, we did not do a weight update.
Speaker 1We did not.
Speaker 2Was that on purpose?
Speaker 1No.
Speaker 2Are you avoiding it?
Speaker 1No.
Speaker 2All right. Do you know how much your weight has changed compared to last recording? I lost 0.9 kilos. Okay, I don't know how that happened.
Speaker 1So I lost one kilo.
Speaker 2Oh, okay, well, whatever, you're just trying to be better than me.
Speaker 1Well, it just happens to be that way.
Speaker 2How'd you do that? How did you get 0.1 more than me?
Speaker 1I don't know. I mean, I guess.
Speaker 2You're just that good.
Speaker 1Yeah, I don't want to brag, but I guess that's how it is.
Speaker 2All right, well, on that note, would you like to take a break?
Speaker 1Yeah, are you mad now?
Speaker 2Upset. Yeah, are you mad? Now Upset, yes, okay, let's take an upset break. Intermission. Yeah, I'll be right back.
Speaker 1Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2Oh a spider, oh God Hi spider. You just climb right up there and make yourself at home. Yeah, oh a spider, oh God Hi spider. You just climb right up there and make yourself a home. Yeah, it's nice and warm and comfy. Just no laying eggs, because that will be a problem.
Speaker 1Why.
Speaker 2Because I have too much technology in here.
Speaker 1Oh.
Speaker 2For baby spiders. I don't want baby spiders in my computers.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2Can you get rid of it, sure?
Speaker 1Where? Where do you want it?
Speaker 2Just bring them outside.
Speaker 1Outside in the Like outside world, okay.
Speaker 2Sure, I'm going to pause this, is that okay, yeah? Hello hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello hello hello, hello hello hello. Hello and welcome back. Yes, welcome back.
Speaker 1Okay, matthias.
Speaker 2Okay, lauren loris do you know what we're doing today? I have no idea no idea, no idea, all right.
Speaker 1It makes me curious Are you nervous? No, not really.
Speaker 2Okay, you should be.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2I'm going to put a lot of pressure on you.
Speaker 1Oh really.
Success Strategies for Daily Life
Speaker 2No, no, are you on your toes now? Yep, like a ballerina, yep. Okay, I'm going to do some spinning.
Speaker 1Okay, so you know how this podcast is basically just us trying to educate the world.
Speaker 2Yeah, right, okay. So everyone is looking to be successful.
Speaker 1Yes.
Speaker 2But I'm going to tell you 13 things you are currently doing wrong. Okay, that is making you less successful in your daily life.
Speaker 1Me personally.
Speaker 2You specifically. I'm telling the world all of your flaws right now.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2No, everyone specifically.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2Everyone in the world is doing everything wrong.
Speaker 1Ah, even the one, the rich ones.
Speaker 2Yeah, they're doing things wrong.
Speaker 1Yeah, they could be richer.
Speaker 2They could be doing better. Yeah, they're doing things wrong. Yeah, they could be richer, they could be doing better.
Speaker 1Yeah, do better.
Speaker 2So I'm going to let you in on a little known secret.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2Success isn't about working harder. It's about working smarter. So today I'm bringing you 13 powerful strategies that most people are too afraid to try, but are absolute game changers.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2All right, let's get started. We're just going to jump right in. So number one I told you 13 because, it's one, one, three, okay, so number one out of 13. Yeah, waking up. Okay, we all know the correct way to wake up.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2Set five alarms every five minutes to slowly wake up. Over an hour You'll get bonus micro-naps.
Speaker 1Five alarms Every five minutes Wait.
Speaker 2is it like five alarms every five minutes?
Speaker 1Or is it One alarm Every five minutes? Okay, so you don't have like five alarm clocks?
Speaker 2No, set them for every five minutes. Okay, so you don't have like five alarm clocks, set them for every five minutes that would be annoying yeah, that's a lot of alarm clocks.
Speaker 1To turn off, yeah, or hit snooze yeah, but I mean, I kind of like having an early alarm clock that you can just ignore and go back to sleep.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 1I do that sometimes. Ah, it's nice when you know you have the day off and you can just. I don't have to care about that now.
Speaker 2Okay, two Hydration. You're hydrating wrong.
Speaker 1Oh yeah.
Speaker 2Drinking too little water or relying on sugary beverages. No, coffee and soda have water in them, so they totally count. Who needs plain water when it's so boring?
Speaker 1Exactly Wait, was that the advice? Yeah?
Speaker 2Okay, number three, work productivity, productivity.
Speaker 1Work productivity, productivity, productivity.
Speaker 2Productivity. Do you multitask, or do you take things one at a time?
Speaker 1Well, I multitask, but one at a time. I do several things, but not at the same time.
Speaker 2All right.
Speaker 1That's what I call multitask.
Speaker 2All right. So what you're supposed to do is juggle as many tasks as possible at once.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2It's like a brain workout, and if you drop a few, you'll just have fewer things to do. True, very good advice. So the more you forget, the less you have to do. That's good.
Speaker 1That's a good thing.
Speaker 2Number four, right.
Speaker 1Yeah, I think so.
Speaker 2I hope so. Exercise. You're doing it wrong.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2Only work out once a year, but go as hard as possible. That one session should last you until the next year.
Speaker 1I feel like a lot of people do this.
Speaker 2Especially. Yeah, they'll get their workout done on the first day of the year and then drop.
Speaker 1Yeah, yeah on like the first day of the year and then drop yeah, yeah, so okay, I'm doing that wrong because I've been to to the gym several times a year and this year I have been there a couple times so yeah I'm I'm doing things wrong. I I need to fix this yeah I can't fix it this year, because I already been there.
Speaker 2You've already messed up. Yeah, you might as well start over next year.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2Okay, number five is your eating habits.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2Swallow your food whole like a snake. It's faster and saves your teeth from unnecessary wear and tear.
Speaker 1No problems with that.
Speaker 2You already do that, yeah, so you're doing that one right.
Speaker 1Yeah, yeah, I'm a snake.
Speaker 2You are a snake.
Speaker 1Yeah, what else can I say I?
Speaker 2don't know. You're a stink.
Speaker 1I'm a stink. I'm a stinky snake.
Speaker 2Stinky snake. Number six is your sleep. You're sleeping wrong.
Speaker 1Okay, more sleep.
Speaker 2More.
Speaker 1No, well, the other one was waking up.
Speaker 2Yeah, don't worry about getting enough sleep, just take random five-minute naps throughout the day. It's like charging your phone on a 1% battery constantly.
Speaker 1Okay, so five minutes, mm? Yeah, I don't know, I want more than five minutes. Well, that's throughout the day, yeah but still you have to take your five-minute naps during work.
Speaker 2Yeah, I still, you have to take your five-minute naps during work.
Speaker 1Yeah, I do that.
Speaker 2Yeah, okay.
Speaker 1Duh.
Speaker 2Duh Number seven is your communication. You need to communicate better. Okay, talk over people during conversations to assert dominance. They'll appreciate how much you contribute.
Speaker 1Mm-hmm.
Speaker 2So don't let other people talk.
Speaker 1No, I feel like I.
Speaker 2Are you a victim?
Speaker 1I am. I feel like people talk over me all the time. I don't know what you're talking about and yeah, no, I never get to speak.
Speaker 2Number eight is your money management.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2How good are you with money, do you think?
Speaker 1I spend way too little.
Speaker 2That's a problem. You're supposed to spend your money as soon as you get it because, honestly, who knows if tomorrow is even coming? Live in the moment.
Speaker 1That is true, and I am once again a failure because I save too much Not good, no.
Speaker 2Number nine stress management. How do you think you're doing with your stress management? How do you manage your stress?
Speaker 1I don't know. I feel like it comes and goes. Sometimes I'm stressed and sometimes I'm not.
Speaker 2All right. Well, you're supposed to avoid all stressful situations by ignoring them completely.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2If you pretend, problems don't exist, they technically don't. Yeah, I'm on board with that one.
Speaker 1Okay, yes.
Speaker 2If you ignore it as long as possible, then it's not a problem, right?
Speaker 1I'm pretty good at ignoring things. Yeah, you are, yeah.
Speaker 2Number 10 is your posture, fix it. Yeah, number 10 is your posture.
Speaker 1Fix it.
Speaker 2Okay, always slouch. It's nature's way of keeping you low to the ground and safe from predators.
Speaker 1Thank you, I was about to do the opposite. No, no, no, no, no, I'm sorry for that. Then someone's going to attack you, yeah 11, learning.
Speaker 2You're doing it wrong.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2Never ask questions, just pretend you already know everything. Confidence is more important than knowledge.
Speaker 1Hey, that's people at work.
Speaker 2That's me.
Speaker 1Yeah, you're at work.
Speaker 2Yes, I'm one of the people at work.
Speaker 1You're one of the people at work.
Speaker 2Yeah, yes, I am. Yeah, me too. Yeah, because a lot of people will be told things and they'll just be like yeah, yeah yeah, and not understand a word that they've been told true, true story. I I have been one of those people before. I'm guilty yeah number 12 is cleaning. Do you clean that often?
Speaker 1never, never, no, I well, it's not that often okay but I do it sometimes.
Speaker 2Yes, if you don't see dirt, it's not dirty. Just dim the lights and everything will look spotless yeah, that usually works actually keep the lights off and you won't see a problem.
Speaker 1That's how I do it.
Speaker 2Good.
Speaker 1Yeah, so yeah, I feel like I got that one right.
Speaker 2Number 13 is your relationships.
Speaker 1Yes.
Speaker 2This is my favorite one. Best for last relationships.
Speaker 1Okay.
Speaker 2Ignore your loved ones entirely, so they learn to appreciate how much they miss you. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, after all.
Speaker 1Yeah, that's very wise.
Speaker 2So, yeah, I'm gonna just start ignoring my kids and maybe they'll appreciate me more.
Speaker 1Yeah, and your life partner.
Speaker 2Yeah, yeah, I could do some more appreciations, yeah.
Speaker 1Will he notice? Will he notice?
