SPEAKER_00:

In a world where everything is unscripted, this is roasty, toasty, roasty. Alright.

SPEAKER_04:

Alright. Christmas episode.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Cool, right?

SPEAKER_00:

Huh?

SPEAKER_04:

Very interesting.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, I kinda like the idea that this is the Christmas carol.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh yeah. We're doing Christmas Carol all over again. Yeah. So let's uh jump into the episode. Would you like to open this up? Yeah. Alright. Wait. I have to find okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Not synchronized.

SPEAKER_04:

This is not gonna go well.

SPEAKER_00:

No.

SPEAKER_04:

Bad opi oh bad bad episode. Opisode. Opisode. Uh let's wrap it up and uh try again tomorrow. Yeah. This isn't gonna go well.

SPEAKER_00:

No.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay. Hello.

SPEAKER_00:

Hello.

SPEAKER_04:

Hello, and welcome to Roasty Toasty Ghostie. My name is Lauren. And I'm Matias. And we're gonna be your besties for the next half hour or so.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, well, maybe I don't know. Probably not.

SPEAKER_04:

Or it could be an hour. Half hour to an hour. Uh yeah, let's let's um not waste more time than that.

SPEAKER_00:

No.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay. This is the not just the episode, because I was gonna say the episode.

SPEAKER_00:

This is the episode.

SPEAKER_04:

This is uh the episode. This is the podcast in which you'll learn nothing at all. And uh it's our last episode before we go on our trip.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

So uh Merry Christmas.

SPEAKER_00:

Merry Christmas.

SPEAKER_04:

Thank you. Happy New Year.

SPEAKER_00:

Happy New Year. I like the idea that this is gonna be the Christmas carol. That we're gonna talk about the past week. The past.

SPEAKER_04:

That's the past, yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Then the present.

SPEAKER_04:

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_00:

We're gonna give each other a present.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh, we're oh, that's fun. Yeah. We are giving presents because it's Christmas. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

And then we're gonna talk about the future.

SPEAKER_04:

Right. Later.

SPEAKER_00:

Just like the ghosties in the Christmas Carol.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah. Yeah. That's pretty fun.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

To be continued on this subject. Matias, how are you doing?

SPEAKER_00:

I'm doing well.

SPEAKER_04:

Could. Good.

SPEAKER_00:

Could.

SPEAKER_04:

Could. Could have been well. Yeah. It's too bad you're a bad liar.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

No.

SPEAKER_00:

Uh no, I'm uh I feel pretty good. Good. Uh how are you? Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Yep. Um, well, you know what? I'm better.

SPEAKER_00:

That's good.

SPEAKER_04:

I've been worse this week. I have had a cold. Um I I haven't told you that I've been suffering this week.

SPEAKER_00:

You haven't told me at all.

SPEAKER_04:

I haven't talked to you that much this week.

SPEAKER_00:

No.

SPEAKER_04:

I'm gonna tell you why.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay.

SPEAKER_04:

Not because I'm ignoring you. Okay, but because I have been working my butt off in the midst of suffering from this cold to uh prepare for this trip that we're taking uh for Christmas.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes.

SPEAKER_04:

Uh I had a gymnastics meeting last night that I was trying to prepare for because I had a lot I wanted to bring up. Because I have a lot of plans and a lot I want to do.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Especially for my group. So um pretty much every day I've been doing something. Plus, I got uh when did I work? I did work. I did work. Didn't I work?

SPEAKER_00:

I don't yes you did.

SPEAKER_04:

I did I worked in the middle of the week.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, because you wrote that you were at work.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah. I think I got called in to work one of the days, and then I was asked to work the next day as well, but I couldn't. Mmm. Right. I did them. Um, and you know what? This cold is like I think it's my body's last resort to uh uh tell me to slow down, calm down, because I'm stressing like crazy. You have stress. No idea. Yeah. Because it started off with uh headaches that came like super easily and uh I assumed it was stress headaches. Makes sense because I'm like double checking everything in my head, like making sure that I'm not forgetting anything. Because I forget things. I don't know, you maybe have noticed. Sometimes I forget. I don't I don't remember. You have I don't remember you never remembering anything. I don't know. The headaches came easily, yeah. Right, and then um my leg started hurting and it's not really it gets better and then it it like immediately gets worse again out of nowhere. So my leg is trying to slow me down, and then I've got this cold that's like just like lay on the couch for a while and don't move. Um so yeah, I've been uh I've been paying for the stress. Yeah. But I don't think it's slowing me down because I'm still stressed.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Um also I did my math final yesterday. Okay. I didn't pass, I have to do it again on Monday and Tuesday.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

But Tuesday is like the last day I can do it. So if I don't pass it on Tuesday or by Tuesday, then I probably have to do the whole course over again. It's fun. Yeah. We all like math. Oh yeah, I think. And uh Swedish is ending as well. But I'm gonna be able to sneak into the next level up because I thought that I was gonna have to redo this course as well because I was gonna miss the final, but I got snuck into the next one anyway. Okay, because we're just assuming that I'm gonna pass, which I probably will because I mean I I am that good. Uh so yeah. That was my week. I'm sorry for rambling. What have you been up to this week?

SPEAKER_00:

So it's Saturday. We had live mad libs.

SPEAKER_04:

We did. Did it go well?

SPEAKER_00:

I think so.

SPEAKER_04:

Alright, it did go well.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Yeah. Did you think so?

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah. I had fun.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, me too.

SPEAKER_04:

I think so.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, I feel like all the songs went well and everything. So yeah. I feel good about this one. Good. Last year's was uh was it meh? Well, it was more like I feel like we weren't on the same page.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh, I feel like that happens like every year.

SPEAKER_00:

This year we were mostly on the same page.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay. What happened last week? Last year.

SPEAKER_00:

Last year. That's when I had mine on my phone.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

I didn't put them on on the drive. All right. Yeah. Because the first year we had it on papers. Right. But now we know.

SPEAKER_04:

Now we have like a system and Yeah, it'll be better next year.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Maybe we can like go through and you know.

SPEAKER_04:

What are you saying?

SPEAKER_00:

Nothing.

SPEAKER_04:

Are you starting something?

SPEAKER_00:

No.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh, I should go through it. Okay, well I went through half of it. Right up before uh to before I started having problems with it. Uh anyway. Okay. We did that. What else did you do last week?

SPEAKER_00:

On Sunday, that's of course the editing day. Uh so that's what I did then. And then uh I've been working all week. Yeah. Evening. Evening, yes.

SPEAKER_04:

So it was a good week.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. It was good.

SPEAKER_04:

Anything else for the week? I haven't seen you all week. No. I haven't seen you since Mad Libs.

SPEAKER_00:

No, that's true. Right? Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Even though you did go right past me on the train.

SPEAKER_00:

I did.

SPEAKER_04:

I saw the train go by. And I was like, are you on the train? You're like, yeah. It's like, okay, bye. You don't usually look for me every time you go through. No. No. You don't like stare out the window. Where's Lloyd?

SPEAKER_00:

I I feel like you messaged me after. Yeah, it was after.

SPEAKER_04:

So it it was kind of I was I was just hoping that you were looking out the window. Okay. I guess.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, I wasn't even on that side.

SPEAKER_04:

So okay. Fine. You're doing everything you possibly can to not see me.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay. That was the week?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, basically.

SPEAKER_04:

That's it. That's all that happened this week.

SPEAKER_00:

I think so.

SPEAKER_04:

I think so. It's Friday. It is Friday. It's December 19th.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

We watched movies this morning.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Would you like to move me on?

SPEAKER_00:

Yes.

SPEAKER_04:

Cool.

SPEAKER_00:

Let's move on.

SPEAKER_04:

Today we watched this morning, because it was a movie morning. We watched D3, The Mighty Ducks.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes.

SPEAKER_04:

Number three. We also watched Unlethal Weapon 2. Mighty Ducks was a Christmas movie? Yeah. Lethal Weapon did not seem like it was very Christmassy. Please tell me I'm wrong.

SPEAKER_00:

I noticed a few Christmassy things. Okay. We can talk about that when we get to that movie. Okay.

SPEAKER_04:

Does my voice annoy you? No. Because I like talk like this and it's like really annoying. I've been listening to myself for the past week and I just hear myself just like, eh, you're like everything I draw everything out. Okay. And uh it's kind of annoying, but I can't stop it.

SPEAKER_00:

I like that you're uh you're exaggerating it's not. I'm not even exaggerating now when you were talking about it. So it's gonna be even worse for you.

SPEAKER_04:

Yes. Yes. Um please tell me about the ducks three.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes.

SPEAKER_04:

The third duck.

SPEAKER_00:

In this one, the gang is back.

SPEAKER_04:

Again.

SPEAKER_00:

Again.

SPEAKER_04:

For the third time.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes. They're gonna play some hockey, but you know what?

SPEAKER_04:

What?

SPEAKER_00:

Emilio Esteves, or as his character is called, Gordon Bombay. He's not gonna lead the team anymore.

SPEAKER_04:

Mean.

SPEAKER_00:

No, yeah. Yeah. He he he leaves leaves at them. Leaves at them. He leaves them. So he's not in the movie that much at all. And so they got a new coach who they think is kind of strict and don't like that much in the beginning. I guess they warm up to him as time goes.

SPEAKER_04:

And they all got this scholarship to this college. Uh and they can play hockey for the college. Mm-hmm. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. That new coach wants to make changes that they don't like.

SPEAKER_04:

They compete against the varsity team in their JV. Junior varsity.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh yeah. Right. I know exactly what those words mean.

SPEAKER_04:

Good. They're not important to you.

SPEAKER_00:

No, not really.

SPEAKER_04:

No.

SPEAKER_00:

I don't know. Did I miss something?

SPEAKER_04:

I I think I filled in your blanks. Yeah, you you I think we're good.

SPEAKER_00:

I I like that you help me because some things I don't understand.

SPEAKER_04:

Good. Because you don't always like it when I help you.

SPEAKER_00:

No. No. No.

SPEAKER_04:

So I I risk a lot by helping.

SPEAKER_00:

So risk a lot. I do. I risk my life by helping you.

SPEAKER_04:

Because you might like choke me from over there.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, that's true.

SPEAKER_04:

Try to kill me because I helped you.

SPEAKER_00:

Uh I use my force because I can do that, you know.

SPEAKER_04:

It's your death stare that kills, really. So, um, but it went well this time. Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. What did you think about this movie?

SPEAKER_04:

I liked the movie. I like uh I I I don't know. I think I like the last one better. Okay. I mean, sure, this one was good and everything. It was different end stuff, but there wasn't as much Emilio in it. No. Which is kind of a bummer. Um, but seeing the kids get together and teamwork. Yeah. It's always fun. What did you think?

SPEAKER_00:

I agree with you that it's a bummer that Emilio isn't in it as much. Yeah, so I didn't quite enjoy this movie as much as the other two. The first one was my favorite, then the second one, and the third one wasn't that good.

SPEAKER_04:

It was your third favorite. Yeah, exactly. Out of the three. Out of the three that we've seen so far. There's only three, right?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, then they made like a TV series. Oh, okay. Or streaming series. Like in 2020 or something.

SPEAKER_04:

So I'm guessing it's not the same actors.

SPEAKER_00:

Not the same kids. Okay. But uh, I think that Emilio is back in the first season of that. Oh.

SPEAKER_04:

So that's kinda cool.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Wherever it is.

SPEAKER_00:

I think it's on Disney Plus.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh, yeah, that makes sense. Might look at it.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. I do like that the kids come back. That it's the same kids through all these movies. I like that. That is good. Are we done with this movie? Or are we done here? Do you feel like this was enough?

SPEAKER_04:

I think that's enough. Unless you have more tad.

SPEAKER_00:

No, I don't think so.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay. Then I'm gonna tell you about Lethal Weapon 2.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes.

SPEAKER_04:

This is a movie with Mel Gibson and his friend, the guy who is also there. I remember his name. I'm just not gonna tell you.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay.

SPEAKER_04:

I'm gonna let you guess.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, I'm gonna guess Danny Glover.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, right, that guy. Yeah. Good job. You passed the test.

SPEAKER_00:

Thank you.

SPEAKER_04:

It was a pop quiz. Just making sure you're paying attention to this movie that uh you've seen way more times than I have and uh enjoyed. In this movie, there's some bad guys and they're laundering money for drugs, I'm guessing. No, no, it's just money for fun. Yeah. They're not laundering in any just cuz had nothing better to do that day. So let's just go out and launder some money.

SPEAKER_00:

They're just bad guys doing bad guy things.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, that's what they do. Like, what are we gonna do today? Uh, let's go launder some money.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Alright. I mean, uh I'm on board. I was I have a meeting later. So uh if we can get this done before that, that would be great.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay. Uh so yeah, it's like billions of dollars. Lots of money. And uh the police guys, Mel Gibson and Danny Glover, uh, kidnap uh the guy from Home Alone. And uh he's a bad guy in Home Alone.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

And in this movie, I guess as well, but not as bad. No. I mean he's just like a messenger guy, really.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Right? Yeah, he uh yeah, he's I don't know what uh because he was saying that the drug dealers hire a courier who talk to him.

SPEAKER_00:

So he is like a He's the laundry guy.

SPEAKER_04:

He's the laundry man. He'll do your laundry.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

It has nothing to do with money.

SPEAKER_00:

No. If it happens to be money, you know Yeah, whatever. Some sometimes money goes into the laundry with in the pockets of pants, by the way.

SPEAKER_02:

By the way.

SPEAKER_00:

For example, among other places.

SPEAKER_02:

By the way, by the way, just the side notes, pockets.

unknown:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

You know, pockets, by the way.

SPEAKER_02:

Side notes in the pockets?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

Um, yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

So Mel Gibson uh goes crazy and beats up the bad guys. No, he shoots the bad guys, sorry.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

And uh yeah. What am I missing?

SPEAKER_00:

He meets a lady.

SPEAKER_04:

He does. Doesn't he always meet a lady though?

SPEAKER_00:

No, no, not in the last movie.

SPEAKER_04:

No, okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Um, but yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Uh I mean it's Melanie Gibson. He's gotta meet a lady. Yeah. All the action heroes meet a lady lady. A lady. Lady. Uh yeah, there's that. Um yeah, because in the last one he was all sad because his wife is dead. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

And we get more into that story in this one.

SPEAKER_04:

Mm-hmm. A little bit. They've like touched on it a bit.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Well like I killed her wife. Oh no. And then uh kill them all. Mm.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

In uh uh yeah words that I can't come up with. Um, yeah? Anything else?

SPEAKER_00:

I kinda like that uh there's uh one thing that ties these movies together.

SPEAKER_04:

It's Danny Clover.

SPEAKER_00:

No, not really. It's Josh Ackland, the old man.

SPEAKER_04:

He plays Hans in in the Oh the two movies that movies that we watched today. Yeah. Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

The movies we watched today.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh, that was weird in the Ducks movie when he was like fine in one scene and then the next scene he's like, oh he's dead.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Like, what?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

He was fine.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Like it was his time. Like, it wasn't his time, he was fine.

SPEAKER_00:

I like that in that movie he's this nice old man who supports the players and everything. And then in Lethal Weapon 2, he's the worst guy ever. He's uh so evil.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

I kind of like that. And that was kind of my idea, yeah, intention for having these.

SPEAKER_04:

Well, he died in both movies.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

That's what they had in Gotham. Spoiler alerts! Whoops.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, yeah. Uh Lethal Weapon 2 is a Christmas movie.

SPEAKER_04:

Why?

SPEAKER_00:

Why? You remember when they were gonna watch the commercial? Yeah, The Daughter.

SPEAKER_04:

They have Christmas decorations up?

SPEAKER_00:

No, on the TV promo before it it was Tales of the Crypt. What's that? 90s kids' horror series.

SPEAKER_04:

Interesting.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, and it was a Santa there. And so yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

And also Joe Pescher from Home Alone.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh, right. He is the Christmas part.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

He's also Yeah, he was funny. I liked him in this movie.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, he's a bit annoying, but in a funny way. Yeah. He's supposed to be Yeah. Yeah, he's a good addition to the cast.

SPEAKER_04:

Did you like this movie?

SPEAKER_00:

I love this movie.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay. Is it better than the first?

SPEAKER_00:

This is one where I told you before that I like the second one better. Right. I liked this one better than the first one.

SPEAKER_01:

Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

I think this is the best one in the entire franchise.

SPEAKER_04:

Ever.

SPEAKER_00:

Uh, of these movies, yes. Okay. I love this one. It also has one of the most creative death in movie history, in my opinion.

SPEAKER_04:

Alright. With the the kayak thing. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Like the it goes back and forth. It's not the domino effect, but I can't really it's more like a what Rube Goldberg thing.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah. That's what it is. It's uh that kind of uh yeah, it's like home alone. Yeah. You did it like all the time in Home Alone. Yeah. There's like one thing affects the next thing that affects the next thing, which has a result in the end.

SPEAKER_00:

And I I love that. I thought that was a fun thing for this movie.

SPEAKER_04:

That was fun.

SPEAKER_00:

Uh so what did you think about this movie?

SPEAKER_04:

I also enjoyed this movie maybe more than the last one. I have a question. Yes. And it's very relevant.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay, so why don't you have a Mill Gibson Christmas shard? Yeah, that's because you have like the others.

SPEAKER_00:

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_04:

Don't you even didn't you even have uh uh Bruce Willis? No. No. You have the Van Damme and Jackie Chan and Chuck Norris. Chuck Norris, like three of them.

SPEAKER_00:

Three Chuck Norris.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, and you have one of them on now.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Was there another one? No. You don't even have Schwarzenegger. No. I don't know.

SPEAKER_00:

I I need to fix this. Uh not Stalone.

SPEAKER_04:

Calling you a fraud.

SPEAKER_00:

A frog?

SPEAKER_04:

A frog. I'm calling you a frog. Ribbit. Uh would you like to take a break?

SPEAKER_00:

Uh yeah. That's the um cue for us to take a break when you call me a frog.

SPEAKER_04:

Right. Yes.

SPEAKER_00:

So I can jump away.

SPEAKER_04:

That was the signal.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

You'll know when you see it.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, it's like a stop word. Yeah. Break word. Break word. Frog.

SPEAKER_04:

Frog. Alright. We're gonna take a break. Yes. And we will uh do Christmassy things in the next part. So we'll be right back.

SPEAKER_00:

Bye-bye.

SPEAKER_03:

Hello.

SPEAKER_00:

Hello. We're back.

SPEAKER_03:

We're back. We're back.

SPEAKER_00:

We are back. Or what?

SPEAKER_03:

We're back.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, yeah. Okay.

SPEAKER_04:

You're stealing them.

SPEAKER_00:

Well, you said hello. Yeah. So that means I'm I can say what whatever I want.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay. Alright. Alright. Um. Merry Christmas. Thank you. You're welcome.

SPEAKER_01:

Merry Christmas.

SPEAKER_04:

Thank you. Okay, so we're gonna do Christmassy things now. What are we starting with?

SPEAKER_00:

Should we start with the present? I think that's my favorite thing to do. Yeah, we did the past. Now it's time for the present.

SPEAKER_04:

Yes. Okay, so who goes first?

SPEAKER_00:

You're the host.

SPEAKER_04:

I'm the hostie.

SPEAKER_00:

So you decide.

SPEAKER_04:

Would it be wrong of me to want to go first?

SPEAKER_00:

No.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

That's fine.

SPEAKER_04:

Then that's what I'm saying. I want to be first. Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

So funny thing about this is that I got this just today.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Just before you came and picked me up.

SPEAKER_04:

It's got horsies on it. Yeah. The wrapping paper. But it doesn't have my name on it, so I'm not sure exactly who it's for. But I'm gonna open it anyway.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. If you like what's in it, you can keep it.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh wow, thank you. Is it a horse?

SPEAKER_00:

Maybe.

SPEAKER_04:

What if I don't like it?

SPEAKER_00:

Then you can give it away, I guess. Or I can take it.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay. So you secretly want to keep it.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, I I I buy your things that's uh of no interest for you. So I can keep it. I tape the item.

SPEAKER_04:

There's five layers of paper.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, I know.

SPEAKER_04:

Let's go.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay.

SPEAKER_04:

There's tape. Give it back, but yes.

SPEAKER_00:

Does that mean you want it?

SPEAKER_04:

Let's go. Okay, this is the documentary that I sent to you that or I I linked to you as a a very, very, very subtle hint of what I wanted for Christmas.

SPEAKER_00:

Look at this.

SPEAKER_02:

Look at this. No reason.

SPEAKER_00:

But you know it's a Christian.

SPEAKER_02:

I also want it is Christmas soon.

SPEAKER_04:

And also, here's a link.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

It's a documentary uh called Strange Journey by Linus O'Brien, who is Richard O'Brien's son.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh.

SPEAKER_04:

It has Richard O'Brien, Tim Curry, Jack Black, Susan Saranda. Jack Black was not in Rocky Horror. Just hang out.

SPEAKER_00:

Wasn't?

SPEAKER_04:

He wasn't. But Meatloaf was.

SPEAKER_00:

But he's dead. He's so Jack Black took his part.

SPEAKER_04:

I thought for a second that Jack Black was dead, but he's not dead. Not yet.

SPEAKER_00:

No. Not yet. Wait wait a minute. Are you planning something?

SPEAKER_04:

No, no, no. I'm knocking on all the wood here. Okay. I want to keep him.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay. Um is that why we're going through the States?

SPEAKER_04:

Uh no.

SPEAKER_00:

Your assassination.

SPEAKER_04:

So I'm very excited to watch this.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

I do uh love Rocky Horror. And yeah, this should be good. Thank you so much.

SPEAKER_00:

You're welcome. And you know what?

SPEAKER_04:

What?

SPEAKER_00:

There are more on the way.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh.

SPEAKER_00:

More persons.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay. Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Because uh I didn't get everything I intended for you to.

SPEAKER_04:

Everything you ever wanted?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, exactly. Okay. Because I I know you won't like them.

SPEAKER_04:

So Okay, so I'm just gonna give them back.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

And I'm like, okay, thank you. You're not taking that. Just so you know. That's mine. I would like you to open your present though. Yes, please. But it's all the way over here. So you can only have it if you can reach it.

SPEAKER_00:

Short arm. Okay.

SPEAKER_04:

It's that's to you because it says Mathias on it.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, it does. Yeah. I mean, uh you can read it if you're not blind. Yeah, exactly. Okay. That's what I meant. I don't want to start the fight.

SPEAKER_04:

You already have.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay. I'm untying this thing.

SPEAKER_04:

Yay! Spring.

SPEAKER_00:

Spring. No strings attached.

SPEAKER_04:

Not anymore. They were.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay.

SPEAKER_04:

Unwrapping. You already have these, I'm sure.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, cool. Wait, I have to look closer.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Uh Rudolph. Rudolf socks. Rudolph. Rudolph. Rudolph. Rudolph. Rudoldoodle.

SPEAKER_04:

Rudoltoodle.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, no, I don't have these. No? No.

SPEAKER_04:

I just kind of assumed that you did.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, I love them. Go either. I love me some socks.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay. Christmas shocks. Yes, I like Rudolph. I like this one. Yeah. The most.

SPEAKER_00:

It has Rudolph on it.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, but I I just like this part. Okay. This was the best part.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay. You don't like Rudolph.

SPEAKER_04:

I I don't like the foot part, but I like the ankle part.

SPEAKER_00:

Ankle part.

SPEAKER_04:

The Rudolph is okay. Yeah, okay. I like Rudolph, but out of all the designs, this is my favorite one. Just that part.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, it's nice. It's uh snowflakes.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

The snowflake generation.

SPEAKER_04:

Yep. Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

As they were talking about in Cobra Kai.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Thank you. I love you.

SPEAKER_04:

You're welcome. Good.

SPEAKER_00:

And um, yeah, I didn't even mention that I had Rudolph socks on uh on uh Saturday when we when we sang Rudolph.

SPEAKER_04:

But today you have Christmas llamas socks. Yes. And Chuck Norris shirt with Christmas and stuff.

SPEAKER_00:

And you have a Christmas dog.

SPEAKER_04:

I have a Christmas dog. This is my Christmas t-shirt. And I have grey Christmas socks with I believe there are snowflakes on or something. Snowflakes on my socks. Yes. They're very used.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, they they kind of look uh thick.

SPEAKER_04:

Yes, they're warm, yeah, comfy.

SPEAKER_00:

I have those socks too. I should use them more often.

SPEAKER_04:

I'm also wearing my mom's pants. Oh. So there's that.

SPEAKER_00:

Christmas pants?

SPEAKER_04:

No, but mom pants.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Because I'm a mom. I have to wear mom pants. Okay. Yes, that was that.

SPEAKER_00:

That was the present.

SPEAKER_04:

That was the present. Shall we move on? Yes. Okay. What's next?

SPEAKER_00:

The future. What's next? The future.

SPEAKER_04:

The future is next.

SPEAKER_00:

That makes sense.

SPEAKER_04:

So today is number 160. So that means history lesson.

SPEAKER_00:

History lesson. Usually.

SPEAKER_04:

Yes. Usually it's a history lesson. But I believe it's your turn. Yes. Tell me a story. Now I'm gonna tell you our plans for our trip that we are going to go on in exactly a week.

SPEAKER_00:

Yep. Yeah, we're gonna We're gonna be on the way. We're gonna be in the air.

SPEAKER_04:

A week from now we will be in the air. Wow. Yes. And every day that goes by we get a little bit closer and I start to panic a little bit more. And yeah. So I'm gonna tell you our plans, and then you're gonna tell me how it's gonna go for us. Because I tell I tell history, you tell the future.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, for some reason I thought you were gonna say, I'm gonna tell the plants, and you're gonna tell me to shut up.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, probably. Shut up. I already know about this. Stop talking already.

SPEAKER_00:

I've heard it so many times.

SPEAKER_04:

So many times. And you're gonna hear it again. Yeah. Because I'm gonna tell everyone before we go. We're gonna have a meeting before we go. Okay, okay. Okay. Okay. And so uh I'm so annoying. I hate myself. And this is how we're gonna start this.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Are you ready?

SPEAKER_00:

Yes.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay. So a week from now, we're gonna go on a uh very big trip to the States. We're flying from Sweden.

SPEAKER_01:

Yes.

SPEAKER_04:

And we're gonna spend 17 days in the States. Alright. So first we're gonna go to the airport, but we're gonna be in separate cars. My life partner's mother is going to drive one of the cars so that we can split up so that there's space in the car so everyone can go.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

And the bags as well. And you're gonna sleep over the night before. So you'll already be there. So then when we get there, we're gonna leave the car over to the car hotel. It's gonna have a very nice time. Yeah. And then we're going to go into the airport.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

And hopefully everything will go well.

SPEAKER_00:

From what I can see, everything will go well.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay. Like smoothly, or is it gonna go like it's gonna be like a little bit bumpy? Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Uh but uh like my face. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

A little bit bumpy.

SPEAKER_00:

Bumpy like your face. It's gonna go like your face.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay. Okay. So however my face looks that day is how the airport will be.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay. So if it's really bumpy, it's gonna be awful. But if it's getting smoothed out, then it'll be okay.

SPEAKER_00:

I I think you you wanna stretch your face.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh god. Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

J just so it goes well.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay, so we're all gonna get onto the airplane and we're going to fly to Iceland.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes. And uh everyone will be uh annoyed with Iceland. Maybe.

SPEAKER_04:

It depends on how Iceland can behave.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, and also if we see a hockey team there, we're we're gonna ignore them.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah. Don't even start. I don't have the time for this.

SPEAKER_00:

No, we don't like them.

SPEAKER_04:

No, but you can just turn the other way and ignore them.

SPEAKER_00:

I'm gonna say quack and then just you showed them.

SPEAKER_02:

Good job.

SPEAKER_00:

They'll be crying.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah. PTSD.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes, so Iceland.

SPEAKER_04:

Iceland is gonna be okay.

SPEAKER_00:

I think yeah. Uh i we will be annoyed, but uh with Iceland mostly. I don't see us uh, you know, being stuck there or anything like that.

SPEAKER_04:

That's good.

SPEAKER_00:

It's gonna be smooth.

SPEAKER_04:

Smooth, depending on how my face is. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Or is it just the first airport that it also has to do uh it also depends on volcanoes. Okay.

SPEAKER_04:

Also known as volcanoes. Sorry. That's just stuck in my head, and I just I can't stop thinking about volcanoes.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay. So that's from an episode, I guess.

SPEAKER_04:

Uh it's from something that I read once and I just haven't let go of it.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, okay. I read it.

SPEAKER_04:

I read it. Cool. Volcanoes.

SPEAKER_00:

Volcanoes.

SPEAKER_04:

And now everyone else is gonna think about volcanoes from now on. You're welcome.

SPEAKER_00:

You're volcum.

SPEAKER_04:

Volcum. Volcum.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay. Uh alright. Took a second. Okay. Yeah. It's not the first time we've had that one. No. Okay. Anyway. So in Iceland, we are going to uh change planes.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes.

SPEAKER_04:

To go to Boston.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. How long will we be in uh in Iceland or on the plane? Iceland.

SPEAKER_04:

In Iceland, I think an hour forty-five minutes.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay. Okay.

SPEAKER_04:

That's it's not that bad. No. And then we're gonna get on another plane to go to Boston.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes.

SPEAKER_04:

On this plane, we're gonna watch movies. Uh at least two movies. We're gonna have our movie night on the plane. But it's in the middle of the day.

SPEAKER_00:

No one really knows what time it is.

SPEAKER_04:

No. We won't know what time it is for a while.

SPEAKER_00:

No.

SPEAKER_04:

Uh so yeah. We're gonna make it to Boston.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes, we are.

SPEAKER_04:

We are. Okay. We are and the first thing we're gonna do in Boston is go to Dunkin' Donuts because it's right outside the the exit there.

SPEAKER_00:

Boston.

SPEAKER_04:

Boston. And we are going to meet my sister and her husband there. Yeah. They are gonna be there, and they are going to take the kids and the bags into their car and go to their apartment. And we, you, me, and my life partner, are gonna take a shuttle bus, a bus to the car rental place where we will find our car.

SPEAKER_01:

Okay.

SPEAKER_04:

And then when we get this car, we are going to bring it. Uh or I'm gonna drive it to my sister's apartment. And we will pick up the kids and the bags, and then we're going to drive to the hotel. The first hotel. Yes. In New Hampshire.

SPEAKER_00:

New Hampshire, yes.

SPEAKER_04:

Right. Okay. Please tell me we're not gonna fight.

SPEAKER_00:

We're not gonna fight. Okay. There there's gonna be fights in their car, but we're not gonna be there, so Okay, okay. But I just we don't have to worry about that. No. Okay.

SPEAKER_04:

Not my problem. No. Out of my hands. Not my problem. Okay. So we get to the hotel and we sleep there for the night. And then we have a few days. A couple days. Uh my grandmother and my aunt and my cousin are going to be at the same hotel as us. Are you paying attention to my hand gestures? Because this is very important. Yes.

SPEAKER_00:

These are my I I see it.

SPEAKER_04:

I don't know what this is.

SPEAKER_00:

Is it sign language?

SPEAKER_04:

It's sign language. It's the same word over and ducks kissing.

SPEAKER_00:

Kissing ducks.

SPEAKER_04:

Kissing ducks. Ugh. So you're gonna get to meet them, and that's gonna be fun.

SPEAKER_00:

Who?

SPEAKER_04:

My grandmother, my aunt, and my cousin.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay.

SPEAKER_04:

So we'll have a couple days to uh wander around New Hampshire and or at least the area where I'm from.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

And go shopping, meet people, eat stuff, and and then on the 28th, I have an event for a it's a gathering at the hotel where uh I've invited so many friends and family members to come to us to meet us if they want to hang out if they want to. I have gotten responses from some people, but definitely not everyone. And yeah, so we're gonna meet people, and I'm gonna meet a lot of people who I haven't seen in a long time. So there's gonna be that. Hopefully, there will be other kids coming as well. That would be exciting.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

And I might cry. Am I gonna cry?

SPEAKER_00:

Yes, you are.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay, alright. I'm prepared then to get really emotional.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. So But I'm not gonna cry.

SPEAKER_04:

You're not gonna cry.

SPEAKER_00:

No.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay. The next day, we will go to my mom's house. We're gonna do laundry and we're gonna go through some stuff at mom's house and we're gonna rip up some carpet.

SPEAKER_01:

Okay.

SPEAKER_04:

And uh try to clear out at least. I think my goal is at least the living room. We have a lot of people there. So we all should be able to help out and rip out the carpet in the living room. So I hope the living room is ready to be ripped apart.

SPEAKER_00:

Have you asked it?

SPEAKER_04:

The living room?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Not yet, but I can ask when I get there.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

So that's what I'd like to do. We're also going to go to my mom's uh grave and that mm say hi to all the people out there in the cemetery. Hello cemetery.

SPEAKER_00:

And cemetery people.

SPEAKER_04:

Hello, cemetery people. How are you doing? And then, I don't know, go around the town and look at my school, I guess. And all the places, the people and the things. And we're gonna eat pizza.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, nice.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, we're gonna eat a lot.

SPEAKER_04:

We are pretty much only gonna go out to restaurants. I think I mean we'll have hotel breakfasts, but at least one of the days in New Hampshire, doing this again, I want to go to a diner. A very special diner. Yeah. And um have breakfast.

SPEAKER_00:

Breakfast.

SPEAKER_04:

Have breakfast there.

SPEAKER_00:

Breakfast.

SPEAKER_04:

Breakfast. Maybe. So uh there's that. And yeah, I'm hoping that all the time in New Hampshire is just like nostalgia. Even though I was just there last year. Yeah. But just bringing my people to the land where I'm from, and here's the place where I grew up.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Is just show us around.

SPEAKER_04:

Show you around.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Like I've done. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Exactly. So I'm just giving it back.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Your turn to get dragged through my school and everywhere. Here's some stories.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, you show me uh your stories that I Yeah. I told you a lot of memories at my school. So Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

So we'll see.

SPEAKER_02:

We'll see.

SPEAKER_04:

Alright, so let's go to uh the 30th of December.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay.

SPEAKER_04:

That is when we will get into the car, or we're gonna check out of the hotel. And then we're gonna get in the car and drive down to Boston. Boston. Boston. We're gonna go back. And then we're gonna go home and then we're gonna forget any of that happened.

SPEAKER_00:

Surprise. You're like, uh, I feel like we've forgotten something.

SPEAKER_04:

Uh nope.

SPEAKER_00:

No.

SPEAKER_02:

Feels good to me.

SPEAKER_00:

Let's go home.

SPEAKER_04:

I'm done here.

SPEAKER_00:

No, I got my nostalgia.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, four days, that's enough. Bye. No, we're gonna go to Boston. We're gonna go to the Boston Museum of Science. And we're gonna spend time there for a couple hours. And it's gonna be really fun. It's such a cool place.

SPEAKER_00:

Where when is this?

SPEAKER_04:

This is on the 30th.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay, yes.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah. And then around lunchtime, hopefully, we uh can get back into the car. Uh, because the night before we're gonna pack the car with snacks. We're gonna raid Target and get a ton of snacks.

SPEAKER_00:

Ooh.

SPEAKER_04:

Just shove them all in the car.

SPEAKER_00:

You know, I like snacks.

SPEAKER_04:

I do too. And those snacks are going to be saved for munching on in the car, especially on our way down to New Jersey, which is where our next hotel is. And uh, it might be kind of late. It takes like five hours to get there plus traffic, so uh. So we'll spend the night in New Jersey. But when we get there, we're gonna, you know, to the hotel and unload our stuff. We're gonna go to New York City, we'll go out to Manhattan and look around. Look at the lights. Lights gonna be pretty and Christmas and stuff.

SPEAKER_00:

I love looking at Christmas lights.

SPEAKER_04:

I do too. And it's gonna be really nice.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Uh and I mean I like doing that in uh Sweden. And um Oh, just wait. Um I'm expecting to get so much more over there.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh yeah. Just you wait.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes.

SPEAKER_04:

I believe it was 14 degrees out there today.

SPEAKER_01:

Okay.

SPEAKER_04:

Uh in New Hampshire. So maybe the snow is melted by the time we get there. But maybe it comes back a little bit. Because there was snow at least.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Last I heard. But we'll see what happens after today. Right, we're gonna go to Manhattan, look around, and then find a pizza place in New York City, have New York pizza. Hopefully, it's good.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

And go back to the hotel. And then we'll sleep there. And the next morning, we're gonna start our journey to Florida. We're gonna take a road trip down to Florida.

SPEAKER_00:

We're gonna floor it to Florida.

SPEAKER_04:

Floor it. Yeah. Yeah. Okay, so that's how it's gonna be. I'm just gonna go really fast.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Really fast.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah. Yeah, that's all the way.

SPEAKER_00:

That's how it's gonna sound.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Brom.

SPEAKER_04:

That's what I'm gonna say the whole time. Brum broom. Alright, so now I know that. We're gonna stop first in Washington, DC.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

That's our first stop on this road trip.

SPEAKER_00:

Washington, DC. It's nowhere near Washington.

SPEAKER_04:

That's true. That is a fact.

SPEAKER_00:

That's kind of weird when you think about it.

SPEAKER_04:

They're on different sides of the country.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Because I'm like, Washington is all the way over there. Yeah. It's gonna be a

SPEAKER_04:

Oh yeah. Our first stop is going to be in Washington. And then we're gonna go to Virginia from there. No, we're gonna park at uh or around the Arlington Cemetery. And then we're gonna take a walk to uh the Washington Monument and back.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

It's quite a long walk, but it's gonna be a lot to look at, I think. And uh you'll see a whole bunch of other monuments and stuff, buildings, fun things. And then we're gonna go back to the car. That's our walk.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay. Good to get the steps in.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah. Um, and then we're gonna when we get back to the car, we'll drive down to Virginia, where we're gonna stop at a Chuck E. Cheese. We're gonna eat pizza and play games and hang out for an hour and a half, two hours maybe.

SPEAKER_00:

An hour or so.

SPEAKER_04:

An hour or so. And uh yeah, we'll have fun there. And then when we're done having fun there, we uh we'll get back in the car and drive down to North Carolina. We'll we'll stop at a crispy cream. That's where they have like coffee and donuts. It's kind of like Duncan's, but I think they just have donuts.

SPEAKER_01:

Okay.

SPEAKER_04:

And coffee or something, maybe hot chocolate. I don't know. I don't know what else they have. But that just happens to be in the town where my sister was born.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh yeah. Yep. That's cool.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah. And then when we've had our coffee and donuts, we will get back in the car and hopefully around this time we start seeing some fireworks. If we haven't already. And we're gonna go down to uh Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and walk the boardwalk and watch the fireworks for New Year's.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

And it's gonna be so pretty.

SPEAKER_00:

So pretty.

SPEAKER_04:

So pretty.

SPEAKER_00:

Awesome.

SPEAKER_04:

I'm gonna cry. Am I gonna cry?

SPEAKER_00:

Yes, you are.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh my god, I'm gonna cry.

SPEAKER_00:

You're gonna cry so much during this trip. I can tell you that.

SPEAKER_02:

Oh my god, I'm just gonna cry the whole time.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

I wanna go home.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, it's gonna be it's gonna be more confusing when you're not crying. Well, like, what wait, what's it?

SPEAKER_04:

Are you okay?

SPEAKER_00:

Why aren't you crying?

SPEAKER_04:

Maybe. So, New Year's, midnight on the beach, on the ocean. Are we gonna go skinny dipping?

SPEAKER_00:

No.

SPEAKER_04:

Good. I don't want to do that. Good. We can touch the water. It's the ocean. You have to at least put your finger in the water.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay.

SPEAKER_04:

You have to say, I touch the ocean at least once. Yeah. Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

But I have to ask the ocean first.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah. You need its permission. We're in Moana land here.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. We need consent.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah. You have to go up to the ocean and be like, Can I can I touch you? Is it okay if I touch you here? Okay. Alright, alright. That was okay. How about here?

SPEAKER_00:

Don't worry. Just a finger.

SPEAKER_04:

Just a finger. Just the one. What? Is that too much? Okay. What about my whole hand? Okay. And then your hand gets bitten off by a shark. Land shark. Or something. Or a whale. We can spend as much time as we want there because that's the only uh place with like a potential deadline. Okay. Because I'd like to be there by midnight.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Everything else, the next day it's like whatever. We can take as much time as we want. But when we're done at Myrtle Beach, we'll get back in the car and drive to Jacksonville, Florida.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay.

SPEAKER_04:

And it's gonna take like six hours to get there. So uh by the time well when we get to Jacksonville, we will stop at the Golden Corral, which is a breakfast buffet place, so I've heard. I've been there once.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay.

SPEAKER_04:

I don't remember anything. So hopefully it's okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. I I think it will okay.

SPEAKER_04:

It's gonna be good.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, we will all survive.

SPEAKER_04:

Good. You know, I'm kind of worried about getting like robbed in New York.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay, yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Is anyone gonna like jump me or uh kill me?

SPEAKER_00:

Uh yes, but uh not kill your. We will all survive.

SPEAKER_02:

Yes, but you'll be okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Are you okay?

SPEAKER_04:

Are you okay? Can we go home now?

unknown:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay. So then uh oof. Okay, so we're gonna eat breakfast and then we're gonna go to Spring Hill, Florida, and stay at a hotel there. We'll meet my uncle and his wife, and we have a few days there. I don't really know what we're gonna do.

SPEAKER_01:

No.

SPEAKER_04:

I'm sure my uncle will have things for us to do.

SPEAKER_01:

Good.

SPEAKER_04:

But then he or yeah, he and his wife, and all of us with my sister, because she's with us this whole time, this whole road trip. Yeah, she meets us at the museum and we go together. I completely forgot to add her there.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Um, but yeah, all of us were gonna go to Orlando, Florida, and we're gonna have a rental house there. Really big rental house. It's got like seven bedrooms and several bathrooms. Like everyone has their own bathroom, I think.

SPEAKER_01:

Okay, good.

SPEAKER_04:

And it's got a pool and a grill and really big living room and kitchen and everything. It's like amazing.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay, good.

SPEAKER_04:

And we're all gonna stay in the same house for like, I don't know, a week or something.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay, good.

SPEAKER_04:

Good. And we'll have a couple days to uh hang out there and then we will spend four days uh going to uh Universal Studios. We have four days there.

SPEAKER_00:

Four days there.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, the first day is not gonna be that fun for you. Okay, because we're gonna go to Volcano Bay first, because that's the only day that it's opened while we're there.

SPEAKER_02:

Okay.

SPEAKER_04:

It's a war war parr. Warr parr.

SPEAKER_02:

Warr r.

SPEAKER_04:

Rarr. It's a water park.

SPEAKER_00:

Walrus.

SPEAKER_04:

It's a walrus. Cuckoo cachoo.

SPEAKER_00:

Assum tight.

SPEAKER_04:

Thank you.

SPEAKER_00:

Or bless you. Or proceed. Cruise it. Or gross.

SPEAKER_04:

That's disgusting. I'm so sorry. I'm embarrassed. So we're gonna go to Orlando, and it's gonna be fun. We'll have four days, and then we'll have a couple days after to uh rest up before we fly home from Orlando. And we'll go back to Iceland and then we'll go back.

SPEAKER_00:

We're gonna fly from Orlando.

SPEAKER_04:

Right. We're flying from Orlando to Iceland back to Stockholm. Okay. And that's it. Then we're gonna go home. Good. And pretend this never even happened.

SPEAKER_00:

Aww.

SPEAKER_04:

It was all a dream.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Yeah, right now it feels like it's not gonna happen. For me.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh my goodness, but it's gonna happen.

SPEAKER_00:

And I'm gonna happen.

SPEAKER_04:

Freaking out.

SPEAKER_00:

And afterwards we're gonna pretend like it never happened.

SPEAKER_04:

Right.

SPEAKER_00:

So we could just as well just don't go.

SPEAKER_04:

Let's not go.

SPEAKER_00:

It's easier just as well.

SPEAKER_04:

Let's uh pretend that it was a really nice dream.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

We all had the same dream. Crazy. Okay, so that's uh my story wrapped up.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes.

SPEAKER_04:

How is it gonna go?

SPEAKER_00:

It's gonna go well. You're gonna cry a lot.

SPEAKER_04:

Yes.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh yeah, and we uh go past the rock there somewhere.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh yeah, the rock, the Plymouth rock.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh yeah. Yeah, exactly. The rock is gonna be there. Yeah, the rock is on that.

SPEAKER_04:

Right.

SPEAKER_00:

I don't even know what that is, but it's uh rock. It's a rock.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, the rock is on the rock.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, it's a rock rock.

SPEAKER_04:

Rock rock.

SPEAKER_00:

Because you know, that's what he does. He he just goes through rocks and stand on top of the rocks.

SPEAKER_04:

I think so. That makes sense. Okay, so um that was that. So this is our uh warning, or uh not really a warning. Okay, sorry, no, hold on. Warner Americans. I gotta wrap this up. Yeah. But um this is just to let the listeners know then the episodes for the next couple weeks are gonna be a little iffy, kinda weird. Limited. Limited. We are going to, you know, still upload like a mini episode to let uh let you all know what we've been up to, how's it going, and we're still alive.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. And uh maybe some movions.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, we're gonna tell you about the movies because we're still gonna watch movies while we're gone. And then we will do the whole uh we will tell you everything that happened while we were gone when we get back.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

But yeah, we will do mini check-ins while we're gone. Okay.

SPEAKER_01:

Okay.

SPEAKER_04:

So Matias, as we wrap up this episode, would you please tell me what is currently ruining your life?

SPEAKER_00:

SPEAKER_04:

Oh no, don't start.

SPEAKER_00:

SPEAKER_04:

Glass teeth. Alright.

SPEAKER_00:

SPEAKER_04:

Please be okay. Yeah. Are you gonna also start dropping teeth?

SPEAKER_00:

I hope not. I hope not. I hope not. Wait, who's dropping teeth?

SPEAKER_04:

Um, my children were dropping teeth for a while there.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh yeah. There are teeth everywhere.

SPEAKER_04:

There's teeth everywhere. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay. But uh yeah, that's probably what I have to complain about this week.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

What's ruining your life?

SPEAKER_04:

I'm gonna say my leg again because it's just annoying. The pain keeps like getting it gets better and then bam, it's back again.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, it's the same as last week.

SPEAKER_04:

SPEAKER_00:

SPEAKER_04:
