In a world where everything is unscripted, this is roasty, toasty, roast. I feel like I was kinda good with the food yesterday because I only I only had two hamburgers.
SPEAKER_00Alright. Yeah, yeah, that's okay. Were they singles or doubles?
SPEAKER_03Singles.
SPEAKER_00Okay, then yeah, that's okay. I wouldn't say that's so bad.
SPEAKER_03It's good for me.
SPEAKER_00It's good for me.
SPEAKER_03For being me. It's not good. It's not good for me. It's good for being me.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. It's good compared to the average.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's true.
SPEAKER_00There wasn't even five, so could have easily gone for ten, but I stuck with two.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. See? Now it sounds way better.
SPEAKER_00I mean, they mostly come in eight packs. Yeah. But I'm sure you could clear out a 20 pack. Yeah. Yeah. If it was just the patties, nothing else.
SPEAKER_03Then I need to buy another one since they only come in eight packs.
SPEAKER_00You know, you are probably hitting rock bottom when you buy a 20-pack of patties and just cook them all and snack on the entire thing.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. By yourself.
SPEAKER_00By yourself. I feel like once you get to that point, maybe you should be concerned.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, true. Next month I'm gonna be good.
SPEAKER_00Right. Then we're gonna be halfway through the year and you're still saying, yeah, next month. I'll start next month.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Should we start?
SPEAKER_00Maybe we should. Yeah. So let's open this up.
SPEAKER_03Yes. Pretty good.
Welcome To Roasty Toasty Ghosty
SPEAKER_00Yay. Hello and welcome to Roasty Toasty Ghosty. My name is Lauren.
SPEAKER_03And I'm Matias.
SPEAKER_00This is the podcast in which you will learn nothing at all.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Very exciting. We are going to be your besties for the next hour or so.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, probably.
SPEAKER_00Yep.
SPEAKER_03I think so.
SPEAKER_00That's cool.
SPEAKER_03Cool.
SPEAKER_00And we have a very fun episode for today. I think. I don't know. We'll see.
SPEAKER_03We'll see.
SPEAKER_00I actually don't know.
SPEAKER_03No. I don't know yet either.
SPEAKER_00It could be the worst episode ever.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00It could also be the best.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00It it could be kind of funny, which is what we go for.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Matias.
SPEAKER_03Yes.
SPEAKER_00Hi.
SPEAKER_03Hello.
SPEAKER_00How are you doing?
SPEAKER_03I'm doing well.
SPEAKER_00Are you?
SPEAKER_03Uh you well, right now.
SPEAKER_00I think you're on the same level as last week.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, actually. But uh, I mean it's not worse.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_03Well, not the coughing.
SPEAKER_00Okay. You're still coffee?
SPEAKER_03I'm still coffee. And I don't like it.
SPEAKER_00No. I get that.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, how are you?
SPEAKER_00I'm good.
SPEAKER_03You're good.
SPEAKER_00I'm better than last week, I think.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_00Or I might be the same, just like on a different level. My my issues are on a different Yeah. I'm the same for a different reason.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_00I'm not hormonal today. I'm stressed.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And that's how I'm doing.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_00I haven't seen you this week.
SPEAKER_03No.
Birthdays, Invitations, And Busyness
SPEAKER_00What have you been up to?
SPEAKER_03So last week and it was my birthday.
SPEAKER_00It was.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Happy birthday.
SPEAKER_03Thank you.
SPEAKER_00Again.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, thank you.
SPEAKER_00I didn't see you.
SPEAKER_03You did not see me.
SPEAKER_00I wasn't invited.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_00Again. I wait for the year when I actually get invited to your birthday parties.
SPEAKER_03Well, you all you're always busy, so.
SPEAKER_00I was not busy. I was sitting at home all day waiting for you to tell me to come over.
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah, sure.
SPEAKER_00Well, I mean, yeah, I I didn't really do anything after I taught gymnastics. I did go home and just sit around.
SPEAKER_03But well, you should have come over then.
SPEAKER_00I wasn't invited. I've never been invited. Well you never want me there.
SPEAKER_03You can ask. Sorry.
SPEAKER_00Go ahead and hoe.
SPEAKER_03Did you call me a hoe?
SPEAKER_00Ho Yes.
SPEAKER_03Yes, okay. I was wondering.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_03But yeah, I thought you were busy all day, so that's why you weren't invited.
SPEAKER_00Honestly, I don't remember.
SPEAKER_03No, because you're always talking about how busy you are.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So um And then I realize I'm not actually as well.
SPEAKER_03That's not really my fault then.
SPEAKER_00The thing is that like most of my busyness is like online. Like I'm always doing things online with my emails and stuff. But this week I have had physical busyness. Busyness.
SPEAKER_03Busyness.
SPEAKER_00Busyness.
SPEAKER_03Business.
SPEAKER_00Business. Busyness, business. Yeah. Business, busyness. So I wasn't invited. Because you assumed I was busy. Yes. Okay.
SPEAKER_03Because you're always telling me how busy you are. And I mean, so if you are busy online, would that be like if I invent uh invent you?
SPEAKER_00Invent me? Invent you?
SPEAKER_03No, if I invite you, would you like spend most of the time on your phone?
SPEAKER_00I would try not to, but if I had a really important, like urgent email that like I've been waiting for, uh I'm I'll probably like quickly write it and send it and then be back.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Or you put your phone on the table and be on your watch instead.
SPEAKER_00I don't get my emails on my watch.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_00My watch I have set so that it's only like texts and calls that come to my watch and like certain other notifications, but like not like only the important things. My emails do not come to my watch.
SPEAKER_03They're not important.
SPEAKER_00They're not no, no. Usually my emails can wait, but it's like just this week it feels like. Or recently I've been getting important emails.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Okay. If I knew that you weren't busy, I would have invited you.
SPEAKER_00Okay. So I didn't know. You didn't know that you weren't busy, or I I didn't know that if I even attempted or like ask. Yeah. I usually get shot down.
SPEAKER_03No. I don't think so.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_03You're always welcome.
SPEAKER_00Okay. This time I just assumed.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, okay, and I assumed you were busy.
SPEAKER_00So we both assumed and now we're both sad. Or at least one of us is sad.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I don't think you're really that sad. So yeah. I got over it. Yeah. It's like whatever. But I'm sad.
SPEAKER_00Well, it was just like, yeah, I mean, I'm I'm used to it, so.
The Back Pain Saga
SPEAKER_03Okay. Okay, so I I want to talk about my birthday.
SPEAKER_00Please. I missed out on everything.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Yeah. My birthday started with me working my butt off. We were going to a nearby city to get some like firewood. They're heavy. Really heavy. I broke my back. My lower back hurt so much from doing that. And I was so sweaty. And it was awful. And that was my birthday. Keep in mind. So yeah, we went there twice. We did two loads of that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03It wasn't a great start. And I felt my back like the entire day. Well, I still kind of feel it. Yeah, and then um we went home. We had uh this FICA with a lot of people, and I got some presents like chips and candy and stuff, and also some clothes. That's good also. I like my presents. It didn't really happen that much. We were mostly talking that day.
SPEAKER_00And then you completely fell apart, like the next day, right?
SPEAKER_03The next day, yeah.
SPEAKER_00You got older and then you crumbled to pieces.
SPEAKER_03It's so funny because I turned half 70, 35. Yes. So Oh, you're old.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Okay.
SPEAKER_03Halfway to 70. And the next day I had a monster that when I took like this last sip, and that's when my upper back just did it crack? It didn't really crack. It was more like instant pain in all the upper back, and I could barely breathe. I'm like, so I had to leave the room, and I'm like, I what what what do I do? I luckily I don't feel that anymore. Yeah. So yeah, that was hurtful. It wasn't nice. And then later on, I went to the bathroom.
SPEAKER_02So yeah.
Numb Legs, Near Litter Box Disaster
SPEAKER_03I had a bathroom accident. And kind of. Yeah. No, really. I know. I I sat on the toilet and the thing is I started playing um Sudoku on my phone.
SPEAKER_01Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_03And uh I played this 16 by 16 Sudoku.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_03And that takes a long time to solve the entire thing.
SPEAKER_01Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_03So I sat there for at least half an hour solving that thing. As I'm standing up, I feel like I don't have any legs anymore. They're totally numb.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you're not supposed to sit on the toilet for that long.
SPEAKER_03No, I know. So they're numb, and a normal person would probably have felt back, but I'm like, no, I'm gonna go. And then it's really hard to walk when you don't feel your legs.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_03So I like stumbled forward and almost ended up in the litter box. And I somehow I broke my foot.
unknownOh my god.
SPEAKER_03I don't know. I had to lay there for a few minutes to get my legs back.
SPEAKER_00What happened to your foot?
SPEAKER_03I don't know. Uh I must have stepped wrong.
SPEAKER_00You like sprained your ankle or something.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, something like that. I was like, uh oh, this is not good. So I had to lay there for a few minutes, then I could walk, and I was like limping the entire day because we went to my apartment afterwards. But then when I got home, I went to my bed just to rest.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, have fun with that.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. After that, I was gonna walk, and uh I couldn't stand on the foot, and it it was uh so scary. Yeah, and uh luckily we have this walker thing with wheels on it after my grandma. Yeah, so I had to use that. Yeah, I was like an 80-year-old with uh a walker walking around in the house, yeah. So 35.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, scary age starting starting off strong.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah. So yeah, I'm still limping from the foot thing, but it's better. It's better. Okay, right now it doesn't really hurt, it's more like uncomfortable feeling, you know. I don't wanna have pressure on that side, you know. You you understand.
SPEAKER_00I get it. Yeah, I've had my share of foot, ankle, knee, leg, hip, back pains. Yeah. I go to gymnastics and I always leave with at least one of those.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_00Maybe two.
SPEAKER_03And my mom thought I looked like a horror character. Uh that, you know, limping.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Like I I don't know if it's like a zombie or yeah, maybe. Or a zombie like my life right now.
SPEAKER_00Cool. Sounds like fun.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. The rest of the week I've been limping. The funny thing is that on Wednesday I'm jumping ahead a little because I was expecting a call from uh Arbitsfamilien.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_03What do you even call that in English?
SPEAKER_00The employment agency.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I was expecting a call from them. The thing is that when I got the call, I was on the toilet.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
Toilet Calls And Life Hacks
SPEAKER_03And that call was gonna be about half an hour. And I'm like, I can't leave the toilet and just flush that guy listening to me, like getting up from the toilet.
SPEAKER_00No, you have the conversation on the toilet.
SPEAKER_03I had the conversation on the toilet.
SPEAKER_00Why are you constantly on the toilet? How much time per day do you spend playing Sudoku on your phone on the toilet?
SPEAKER_03Not that much.
SPEAKER_00Okay, well, this is twice in one week. You're stuck on the toilet.
SPEAKER_03I'm stuck uh well, that one time was uh not my playing sudoku. Okay. It was taking a phone call.
SPEAKER_00Alright.
SPEAKER_03So that was just poor timed phone call from them.
SPEAKER_00That happens sometimes.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. So I had to sit on the toilet for half an hour, and I'm like, this is gonna be scary when I uh hang up because I might fall into the litter box again.
SPEAKER_00If that happens to me, someone calls me while I'm on the toilet, because it has happened quite a few times. Either you can do like the super quick flush and then run out and take the call if you have the time for that, I guess.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Or yeah, you just sit there and have the phone call on the toilet, and I have like put the phone on mute if they're like doing something on their side, like typing or whatever.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_00Put it on mute and then flush.
SPEAKER_03Uh, I never even thought about it.
SPEAKER_00And go really quick out and then unmute and pretty that they don't try talking to me while I'm muted.
SPEAKER_03Okay, no, that didn't even come to my mind.
SPEAKER_00That's a suggestion for next time.
SPEAKER_03Okay, good, good life hacks.
SPEAKER_00Life hack. There's a mute button. Yeah. It's just knowing when that pocket of time is and it takes speed.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I did survive the phone call, and uh everything went well. One thing that's good with taking a phone call on the toilet is that you're completely alone. You don't have other people walking in or anything like that.
SPEAKER_00Well, not maybe maybe in your world. In my world, there's no privacy. There's still people banging on the door.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Yeah. Well, where I live right now, we have toilet each, so uh yeah. That's a good thing.
SPEAKER_00But what if people are looking for you? Like Matias, can you help me?
SPEAKER_03That could be a possibility, I guess. I think they would try to call me first.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_03Uh but uh they also knew that I was expecting a phone call.
SPEAKER_00Okay, while you were on the toilet.
SPEAKER_03Not not really that, but uh that they didn't know. So maybe they would be like, okay, he's hiding now.
SPEAKER_00He's taking his in the bathroom.
SPEAKER_03In the toilet. Hiding in the toilet. So yeah, that's what happened in my life this week.
Lauren’s Stress, School, And Gymnastics
SPEAKER_00That's a lot that's happened this week. We've spent a lot of time talking about your week. All right, some highlights of my week. I uh I worked, I went to work on Saturday, but I got out at three. So I could have come over after.
SPEAKER_03Okay, so you know, that was the thing.
SPEAKER_00That was the thing.
SPEAKER_03Because I knew that you were working.
SPEAKER_00I was, yeah.
SPEAKER_03You told me that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that was it. Sorry, but uh sorry, you were right. Yeah. This last week, I managed to save all of my uh physical meetings for Wednesday. Okay, and I had a debate speech that I had to present in my Swedish class on Wednesday, and I wasn't very happy with it, with how it went. Oh. I wasn't happy with anything, and I had to leave the class early, or I thought I was right on time. I didn't know that we were gonna spend longer time in the classroom than usual, but my daughter had a parent-teacher meeting that I had to rush to.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And so we went and did that, and then I went home and figured I would go through my assignments for this upcoming week, and I got so overwhelmed that I broke down. We're supposed to do an analysis on a speech. We're working on speeches right now, I guess. The analysis is supposed to be done on a specific speech, and we were provided a YouTube link to this speech, and it was in German. And so I broke down even more because I don't know German. So I don't know how I'm supposed to do an analysis on the speech that I can't understand.
SPEAKER_03No, and this is Swedish class.
SPEAKER_00Swedish class, why is it in German? Uh so I got really sad and overwhelmed and really stressed. But I realized the next day that there was a file sent to me with the speech in Swedish, so I could read it and understand it. Yeah. And my teacher talked me through everything the next day as well. But I also had a really big gymnastics meeting on Wednesday, and I got to talk to all the people about all the things that I'm trying to do, everything that I'm working on right now, because it's it's big, big things. I mentioned before, big things are happening, and I'm doing big things, and I'm really excited about all of it. And uh you're stressing out. I'm stressing out because it's a lot. It's a lot on both ends, and I'm still taking care of you know a family and everything else around me and trying to be good and uh survive life and stuff, and that's what I've done this week.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And I got sad last night because I had to cancel spinning again.
SPEAKER_01Oh.
Spinning Class Cancellations And Doubt
SPEAKER_00Because once again, the same people signed up and then the same people dropped out right when they saw that it was me. Oh, okay. So yeah. A little sad, but you think it's because of you? I'm pretty sure it's because of me.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Because of the music or maybe.
SPEAKER_00I don't know. I don't know. But I keep getting told, oh, there's so many other reasons that it could be. Like people could be sick, but it's like the third or fourth week in a row that they've done this to me. It's like, what what do you mean? Is that I can't I can't imagine that people would be so sick all these weeks in a row and cancel on me. Or I don't know, have something else, or I don't even know. Even one of the other like instructors in the group canceled on me. Like, even they couldn't support me. Like, come on. Uh yeah, that's uh that's how it's going.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Today's Friday.
SPEAKER_03It is.
SPEAKER_00It is midday again. Yeah. It's like four o'clock.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00It is the day before the last day of February.
SPEAKER_03Yes, it is.
SPEAKER_0027th.
SPEAKER_0327th.
SPEAKER_002026.
SPEAKER_03Uh huh.
SPEAKER_00Still.
SPEAKER_03Yep. Still.
SPEAKER_00It's been like two months into the year. Wow.
SPEAKER_03Well, one short month.
SPEAKER_00One very short month. And it felt like spring today.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I went out this morning to walk the dog. I was gonna say fake dog. He's a real dog. The dog that I'm watching. I took him out for a walk this morning, and it was like all the snow was melting, and it was really wet outside, and it was warm, and the birds were dripping.
SPEAKER_03Okay. And so it felt like spring. Did you say the birds were dripping?
SPEAKER_00The birds were also dripping. They were melting. The snow and the birds were all melting, and everything around me was melting, and it was warm. But we had a movie day.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00We watched movies. Would you like to movie on?
SPEAKER_03Let's movie on, finally.
SPEAKER_00Okay, so today we watched uh D Talks and blus blisters. Um bl blended.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, blended.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's blisters.
SPEAKER_03Blisters.
SPEAKER_00We watched blisters. Oh no. I'm gonna say it again, aren't I? We watched blended blended first.
SPEAKER_03Yes, we did.
SPEAKER_00Would you like to tell me about this movie?
SPEAKER_03I can tell you about this movie. This is a movie starring Adam Sander and Drew Barrymore once again.
SPEAKER_00They are in all the movies together.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Okay. This is not a coincidence that all those three movies were in a row.
SPEAKER_00Oh.
SPEAKER_03Oh. They have uh kids of their own.
SPEAKER_00Right. They all they have their own kids separately from other marriages.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, he has three daughters, she has two sons.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_03It starts with them having a blind date that doesn't go too well. Later in the movie, they go on a vacation separately, but they end up at the same place, and there a spark starts between them and the families.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03And uh they start, you know, l they like uh the other person's kids, and you know, they they help each other with the kids. And uh yeah, I I think that's what the movie is about, right?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, blended is the two families blending together.
Blended: Family Comedy Reactions
SPEAKER_03Yeah, exactly. Yeah. What did you think about this movie?
SPEAKER_00Terry Cruz.
SPEAKER_03Terry Cruz is in this movie.
SPEAKER_00She uh was telling us all about how the families were getting blended.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00The whole time.
SPEAKER_03And I like the cameo from the guy Tom.
SPEAKER_00Oh yeah. I'm Tom. Hi. For a second. Yeah. And Kevin Nealan was in the movie. And who was his woman? Do you know her name?
SPEAKER_03I don't know her name.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_03What did you think about this movie?
SPEAKER_00I like the movie. I felt like I could relate to a lot of the family problems. Uh maybe more than you.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, definitely.
SPEAKER_00Um except for the kids being all excited for their vacation.
SPEAKER_03Excited and thankful.
SPEAKER_00And thankful. Yeah. Thanks, Mom. I'm so happy that we're here. And this is amazing. Because I believe fairly recently we went on a really big uh vacation adventure.
SPEAKER_02We did.
SPEAKER_00And not one of my kids gave me that response. So a little disappointing, but um, and possibly uh I find that part of the movie unrealistic.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I'd say so.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So uh but I I like the movie. It was funny.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And uh sad again, but funny.
SPEAKER_03If you ask me, this is the weakest one of the three movies they made together so far, but I mean I I still enjoyed it. I still like it.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_03But I just prefer the other two.
SPEAKER_01That's all.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's all. Uh I mean it's hard to top those two.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_03The first one is from uh The Wedding Zinger is from '98. The second one, Fifty First Dates, is from 2004. This one is from 2014. So it would be cool if they could make a movie every decade with them.
SPEAKER_00That would be cool.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. So they have three years to make another movie together.
SPEAKER_00Or something. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03So do that. Hey, Drew and Adam, get on that thing. Make another movie. Yeah. I really do like them together. They have a good chemistry.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. They are good. I do like them too. Would you ever consider a trip to Africa?
SPEAKER_03I don't know. I don't think I would be as excited with that idea.
SPEAKER_00Because it's warm?
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Mostly, yes.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Would you?
SPEAKER_00I think so.
SPEAKER_03Hmm. Thinking about if I would pick another continent to go to, I would rather go to Asia.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that could be fun.
SPEAKER_03Because that would be cool.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I would like to go to Hong Kong.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Sorry. Why not?
Travel Dreams: Africa Or Asia
SPEAKER_00I mean, well, I don't know. The thing is that the thing I that concerns me the most about going to uh like Hong Kong or anywhere in Asia is like I can't read Chinese.
SPEAKER_03No, that's true.
SPEAKER_00I can't read the signs unless they're translated to English. And I don't know, I haven't really researched. I haven't gone on Google Maps and gone to Hong Kong.
SPEAKER_03No, here's some uh but what do you say? Um for do more pre-judgment is that I think the air isn't that good over there. Right. Whenever you see a clip or and then it's some it looks like there's smog all over the place.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's just my you know picture of it. Yeah. That it's gonna be hard to breathe over there. Yeah, having asthma is not great. Not the best.
SPEAKER_00No, I guess not.
SPEAKER_03And like you said, Chinese. It's difficult to read.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03The language.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_03I like the people, I think. I don't know. I I haven't met that many.
SPEAKER_00I haven't met the all the Chinese people.
SPEAKER_03No. I met a cat from Hong Kong.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I've met a guy from China and uh girl. They helped teach me how to do my job.
SPEAKER_03Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_00It was cool. And it was like always fun when they had a minute to themselves and like talk Chinese to each other. Yeah. And I just like stand there and listen. Like that's so cool.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you don't know what they're saying.
SPEAKER_00No, but it sounds cool.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, probably you know, like uh insulting you or something.
SPEAKER_00Maybe. Like these guys are idiots.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. No, but um, I would like to go to places that I've seen in movies.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_03That's what I'm interested in.
SPEAKER_00We did that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03With it.
SPEAKER_00And I think it would be kind of fun to go to Africa after watching this movie.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I want to see the elephants.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. And I mean, they're in Africa in Who Am I?
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_03At the beginning, you know.
SPEAKER_00Are there elephants?
SPEAKER_03Yeah. And giraffes.
SPEAKER_00I want to see elephants.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. They're also a snake.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Anything else about the movie?
SPEAKER_03No. I don't think so.
SPEAKER_00Okay. Then I think I'm gonna tell you about detox.
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_00I'm gonna try. This movie has Stallone and some other people.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And uh there's a bad guy who is attacking everyone who Stallone likes.
SPEAKER_02Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_00And so Stallone and some other police people, because uh Stallone works as a police, I guess. And so there's like a group of other police people who decide to live in a very cold place.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's like a detox facility or what Okay. Yeah, they're there for like rehab. Yeah. After like drinking and drugs.
SPEAKER_00He started drinking after Oh yeah, because the bad guy killed his girlfriend. And then he started drinking a lot. And I guess he went to this detox place and it was in a very cold area. Uh there's lots of snow and ice. Then I guess everyone who was living there gets killed off one by one.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And uh Stallone has to find out who the bad guy is.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And then he beats him up. Yeah. That's all.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Do you like this movie?
SPEAKER_03Yes, I do.
SPEAKER_00Why?
SPEAKER_03Why? It's a violent movie, and I like violent movies.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_03No, I do like the who done it kind of movies that you don't really know who who the killer is, like a mystery movie, you know.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. So I I don't mind this movie. It m it's not like my favorite movie of his, but I still kind of like it.
SPEAKER_00Go ahead.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. So my question is, why do you hate this movie?
SPEAKER_00Uh, it's kind of like a horror movie. It has lots of horror vibes and scenes that are scary, and the guy drills through people's eyeballs.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I don't like it. I don't like eyeball things. Okay. Eyes are pretty, but they should not be destroyed.
SPEAKER_02No.
SPEAKER_00And it is very violent. And that's why I'm I'm gonna be brave and say I don't think I like the movie. Okay. And I'm gonna add a sorry here.
SPEAKER_03Sorry. Go ahead. From me.
SPEAKER_00Yes. I'm not going to apologize for disliking the movie. No. I expect that my opinion is respected.
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_00And we can leave the room still being okay with each other.
SPEAKER_03But I'm not gonna say I'm sorry for showing you this movie either.
SPEAKER_00No, you don't have to.
SPEAKER_03No, like I did Platoon.
SPEAKER_00That was a different story. That one was extreme. This one I could watch through it and like be completely okay with it. I watched the movie, I gave it a chance, and I came to the conclusion that I didn't really like it.
SPEAKER_03Okay. That's okay. That's fine.
SPEAKER_00Yes, thank you. Okay. Look how we've grown.
SPEAKER_03Look at my face.
Violence, Eyeballs, And Casting Chat
SPEAKER_00Yes, it's very nice, but keep it over there. Hands to yourself. Okay. Do you have anything super fun to say about this movie that's like such a downer?
SPEAKER_03Um, I mean, uh most of the people, uh the actors in this movie have been like bad guys in other movies. So that I think that's kind of the casting choice. Took people that are so uh typecasted as bad guys in this movie, so you you wouldn't know who the bad guy is.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_03I like that.
SPEAKER_00Now you need to list off all the people they missed.
SPEAKER_03All the people they missed.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, all the other people who are usually bad guys.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Gary Bucey.
SPEAKER_00Oh, yeah. Okay.
SPEAKER_03That's like the top of my list. He is always bad guy.
SPEAKER_00I guess so. I don't remember his name, but the guy who was in Breakfast Club and Die Hard and that all those.
SPEAKER_03Paul Gleason?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Him.
SPEAKER_03Richard Norton.
SPEAKER_00The other Paul who was no, maybe his name wasn't Paul.
SPEAKER_03But uh the other Paul that anyone named Paul?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I'm gonna say. No. Um the the one from Beach Beach Boys, right? Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah. Paul Giamati.
SPEAKER_00He was a Paul. Yeah, he should have been in this movie.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Alan Rickman.
SPEAKER_00Oh, yeah, he's a bad guy. It's more difficult for me.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I don't know.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_00No. But there's a lot of that was a list of other people who could have been in this movie.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. But I still think they had a good list of bad guy people in this. So Yeah.
SPEAKER_00It was still good.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Okay. In that that way.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Anything else?
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_00Alright. Good.
SPEAKER_03Do you want to take a break or something?
Quick Break: Bunny Recovery Update
SPEAKER_00Oh my goodness. I feel like I could use a break.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I'm gonna go for a pea break.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_00And you're gonna go for a research break. Yeah. Yeah. And we will be right back.
SPEAKER_03Right back.
SPEAKER_00Right back. We are back.
SPEAKER_03Yes, we are. Hello. Hello.
SPEAKER_00Did you have a good break?
SPEAKER_03I did have a good break.
SPEAKER_00Good.
SPEAKER_03Did you?
SPEAKER_00I did.
SPEAKER_03You went to the toilet.
SPEAKER_00I did. And then I pet a bunny on my way back.
SPEAKER_03Oh.
SPEAKER_00She got fixed on Monday.
SPEAKER_02Oh, for good.
SPEAKER_00So she is getting her energy back now.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_00And really wants to go back and play with the other bunny. Uh, but she's not allowed to yet.
SPEAKER_03No. No, that's true.
SPEAKER_00But soon enough.
SPEAKER_03She's got stitches there and she's got stitches.
SPEAKER_00She's not really allowed to hop that much.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_00So like her little area is perfect for recovering bunnies.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's true.
SPEAKER_00We didn't have that when any of the other bunnies got fixed.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_00So yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, she does she doesn't like it.
SPEAKER_00No, she's not happy. She's not oh, she's so grumpy right now. She hates taking her medication. She cringes from just the syringe.
SPEAKER_03Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_00You know, it's not like there's no needle, but she's like awkward. She's like, no, blah. Like she she does that like uh like flinching just from the syringe.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, get it.
SPEAKER_00But I tricked her this morning into taking her medication. Well, last night I like put it on her paw so she could lick it off. But then I realized that she could flick it off, flick it off. Yeah, not lick it. Yeah, she could flick it off instead. Flick it off, lick it off and then like not get the entire dosage. So today I mixed it with some mashed banana.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_00And that was why I had the rest of the banana when we started watching movies. Oh, because you can't give them that much. So I gave her a little bit and I gave uh the other bunny a little bit, and then I saved the rest for me.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Alright. All right.
SPEAKER_00Should we transition to this next part?
History Lesson Setup: No AI
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Next half of the episode. Today we are recording 170.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yes.
SPEAKER_00And I guess every tenth episode we do a history lesson.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I am going to tell you a history lesson. This is the first time in a long time we are not using AI. We are going to test my imagination.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00My fantasy. Uh AI is ruining my life. Oh my god, I have a zero fantasy anymore.
SPEAKER_03No, it's it's kind of funny that you do the improv. Yeah. That I I like to do improv. And you say you're bad at it.
SPEAKER_00I am.
SPEAKER_03And uh then it ends up with you doing the improv instead of me.
SPEAKER_00Well, you've gotten to do it a couple times.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. The future.
SPEAKER_00The future.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00You can do a future episode next time.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Maybe.
SPEAKER_00Maybe. Or maybe we should do these things more often, like every fifth.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, maybe. We'll see. We'll see.
SPEAKER_00We'll see. So today it's my turn.
SPEAKER_03Yes.
SPEAKER_00To tell you a history lesson.
SPEAKER_03A history lesson.
SPEAKER_00About what? What are we learning about today?
SPEAKER_03Uh okay, so you're an American, you know. Wow. Yes.
SPEAKER_00Yes, I am.
SPEAKER_03But uh I have noticed something that uh Americans do celebrate, but you don't really mention that much.
SPEAKER_00I don't care.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_00So I don't even need to know.
SPEAKER_03I would like to know more about St. Patrick's Day.
SPEAKER_00Have we done St. Patrick's Day?
SPEAKER_03Have we?
SPEAKER_00Have we?
SPEAKER_03Maybe we have, I don't know.
SPEAKER_00You know what? I'm gonna teach you about St. Patrick's Day. Again. The modern version.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00The today version.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I don't know. Well, that's meow.
SPEAKER_00Meow.
SPEAKER_03Like updated history.
Reimagining St. Patrick’s Day
SPEAKER_00Alright, yes. I'm gonna update the history.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Uh we've done more research, and this is what we have uh discovered.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Okay. So a long, long time ago, uh in a galaxy far away. Don't keep going. No.
SPEAKER_02No.
SPEAKER_00I'm trying. I'm trying. I'm gonna get over this. Anyway. Okay. So many centuries ago, try rewording this. There was a colony, a village of people living together, like people do.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Okay. And one of them had lots of gold. Okay. Very rich. Okay. Very rich guy. Okay.
SPEAKER_03Okay, okay.
SPEAKER_00And he liked to keep it all to himself. And because he wanted to keep it to himself, he had to go hide it. Okay. All his gold somewhere. And there was uh a magical bird fairy guy with wings.
SPEAKER_03Right now I'm seeing like a gay guy flying.
SPEAKER_00Yes. Right. With with eagle wings.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_00And he flew to this village because he he was just going for his daily flight.
SPEAKER_03This is my daily flight. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Some people go for a jog. Yeah. Okay.
SPEAKER_03Or walk.
SPEAKER_00This guy has wings. If you could fly, you'd do it too.
SPEAKER_03Of course. I would rather fly.
SPEAKER_00You need to exercise those wings.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, exactly. You wouldn't fly if you had wings.
SPEAKER_00Not that far up. No. I have like a few centimeters above the ground. I would hover. Yeah. Um but yeah, this guy is fearless. Because he has flown his whole life. And um it was the rock. He he looked very similar.
SPEAKER_03A flying rock.
SPEAKER_00A flying rock.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_00Uh yes. And he noticed fairy? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Bird guy. Okay, yeah. And um he was flying over this village and noticed that people seemed upset. Okay. So he comes down uh and talks to the people. He's like, why are you all upset? And they're like, We have no money, and this one guy is hoarding all the money. Oh. All the gold. And when we, you know, rob his house, there's nothing there.
SPEAKER_01Oh.
SPEAKER_00They're they're all burgling his house. Trying to find his money.
SPEAKER_03What are you doing? I'm burgling.
SPEAKER_00Burgling? You know.
SPEAKER_03I'm burgling the fairy.
SPEAKER_00No, you don't burgle the fairy. You burgle the the bad guy.
SPEAKER_03The bad guy. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00The Scrooge.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_00So you've got Mr. Scrooge, McScrooge, whatever his name is. Yeah. McGyver. Um who plays the role of Scrooge?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_00You've got McGyver who plays the role of Scrooge in this version of uh Christmas. Christmas.
SPEAKER_03Christmas.
SPEAKER_00Christmas story. Christmas? It's a Christmas story. Oh, okay. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03About St. Patrick's thing.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. We'll get there. Okay. But he's played by MacGyver.
SPEAKER_03Okay. And the rock is the is it the old MacGyver or the new one?
SPEAKER_00Probably the old one, because it's a long time ago.
SPEAKER_03Good, because it's uh that's the good MacGyver.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Um.
SPEAKER_03But he's bad now.
SPEAKER_00He's bad. Yeah. Uh he's just playing the part of a bad guy.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. I kind of want to see this.
SPEAKER_00I would love to uh animate history lessons. How cool. Anyway, what was I saying? We were talking about the Oh MacGyver is playing the Scrooge who uh uh is hiding his wealth wealthiness well his gold and the people are trying to burgle his house but can't find it.
SPEAKER_03No, yeah. Okay. So is the this uh flying rock also part of the burgling?
SPEAKER_00No, he's just uh he's the detective.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_00He's like, okay, well let me help you guys so that everything is fair, okay. The fair E. Fair. Fairy. The fairness fairy. Yeah. He's the fairness fairy.
SPEAKER_02Uh.
SPEAKER_00And uh that's just a detail that I forgot to mention because he uh finds Scrooge, MacGyver Scrooge, and is like, what's going on, man? Why aren't you uh sharing your gold? He forgot his line. Yeah. Uh gold. Uh gold. Uh because everyone else is needs some of this gold so that they can buy not money, but food and stuff.
SPEAKER_03It sounds kind of high to me.
unknownI don't know.
SPEAKER_00He's a fairy, magical, fairy bird thing. So he was high, but now he's on the ground.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_00So the uh Scrooge MacGyver, MacGyver Scrooge was his name.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Um, he starts fighting with the rock.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_00And he's like, mind your own business, I do what I want.
SPEAKER_03And so it's a verbal fight.
SPEAKER_00Yes. Yes. Because fairy rock doesn't fight.
SPEAKER_03No. Uh he doesn't do that anymore. He's not a rest fight. No, that's true. And uh I'm I'm thinking, is he smaller or is he big?
SPEAKER_00He's uh who?
SPEAKER_03Fairy rock.
SPEAKER_00Oh, he's he's normal fairy rock size.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_03What does that mean?
unknownI don't know.
SPEAKER_03I'm assuming he's the rest of them.
SPEAKER_00I'm assuming he's like seven feet tall.
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Because he's really tall, I think.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I think so.
SPEAKER_00And uh seven feet wide because of muscles.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, because usually fairies are small.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but he's not a normal fairy. He's like an eagle.
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah, that's true.
Why Green And School Pinches
SPEAKER_00Eagle fairy bird magic guy. And fair fairy. He's a fairness fairy.
SPEAKER_03Fairness fairy, ego, rock.
SPEAKER_00He has a lot of labels. Okay. You gotta keep up with me. Yes. Um, okay, so he gets in a verbal fight because he doesn't wrestle anymore. No, exactly. That was even longer ago. Like forever ago. Yeah. He did that. And so the rock starts getting a little annoyed. Like, this is ridiculous. Why are you like this? So he uses his magical powers and shrinks MacGyver Scrooge.
SPEAKER_03Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_00So he's like two feet tall now.
SPEAKER_03Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_00And he put a curse on him. So every time he hides his gold, everyone will be able to find it because there's a rainbow coming out of it. Uh-huh. So you follow the rainbow to get to the gold.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_00So everything is fair now because people know not to burgle his house. They follow the rainbow.
SPEAKER_03Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_00And also there's four leaf clovers.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_00That will lead a path to the gold if there's no rainbow, I guess.
SPEAKER_03Oh, okay. Okay, it makes sense. Yeah. It's not always a rainbow. That's like just after the rain.
SPEAKER_00Exactly. So, like, there's the rainbow is activated for a certain amount of time and then it fades.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And then there will be four leaflover paths. Because they're
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_00You you're lucky if you find the path because they're really hard to find.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, okay, so mm, it's hard to find the path that's leading to something harder to find.
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_03Even harder to find. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Wow. And then the people who find finally find the gold get really happy and excited, and then they spend all the gold on beer.
SPEAKER_02Oh.
SPEAKER_00And get really drunk. And then I don't know what happened, but the entire village turned into alcoholics and it pretty much burned itself to the ground.
SPEAKER_03Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_00So you won't find it anymore. But the rock eagle bird magic fairy fairness guy flew away after that. He was like, My job is done here. Yeah. And then he went home.
SPEAKER_03Okay. So he he just left it like that.
Wind Down: What’s Ruining Our Lives
SPEAKER_00Well, he didn't really check up on them after. No. Because he like was he was like, my job is done here. I did my good deed of the day and he went home. Okay, so people never saw the the aftermath.
SPEAKER_03Okay, so people are still searching for the gold, or what is that what happens like every year, or why are people celebrating this?
SPEAKER_00Because it's more of a celebration of justice.
SPEAKER_03And drinking.
SPEAKER_00And drinking.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_00To celebrate the good things that the rock did. But I mean, people are more focused on the the short leprechaun guy because he kind of represents the the drinking parts.
SPEAKER_03But he's the bad guy.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Well, a lot of the times there have been incidences when the bad guys are the ones who are being celebrated in history when they're really bad guys.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_00I mean, I don't know if you remember the first history lesson when we talked about the the pilgrims.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah, that's nice.
SPEAKER_00Who ended up being really bad guys, but we're not taught about that in school.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_00No. We're just we're just taught that, oh, everyone got along and we all ate all this food and it was a good time. We all partied. No one told us that everyone was killing the Indians. No. Uh Amin Amindians.
SPEAKER_03Am Indians, yes.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Get your I know, I know. My vocabulary is all messed up.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Um, okay. But so why where yeah. Just why? About this um uh St. Patrick's Day. Uh who's Patrick in Saint Patrick, by the way? Is he the rock or is it?
SPEAKER_00It was Scrooge MacGyver.
SPEAKER_03Scrooge. Yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. His name was Patrick.
SPEAKER_03Okay. That was his first name.
SPEAKER_00Patrick's actually at at first it was called the Saint and the Patrick. Oh. And the Patrick. Patrick and the Saint. Okay. And the Saint. But um Wait, what? Patrick and the Saint. The Rock is the Saint, and Patrick is the the bad guy.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. And Screw Scookyver.
Closing, Next Week, And Live Mad Libs CTA
SPEAKER_00Yeah. And you know how time goes, and there's lots of, you know, you gotta you gotta shorten everything, acronyms, and like flip-flopping everything, and everyone gets confused with time. So they ended up just calling it Saint Patrick.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Otherwise, when trying to write it, it doesn't fit.
SPEAKER_00It takes like an entire page just to write Saint and the Patrick Day. Oh my god. Patrick and the Saint Day. And this all happened on March 17th.
SPEAKER_03Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_00That's a nice day, isn't it?
SPEAKER_03Mm-hmm. Is that it? That's it. Okay.
SPEAKER_00Any more questions?
SPEAKER_03Yes. Why the green? What's the green about?
SPEAKER_00The green was the clothes that Patrick got stuck in for the rest of his life as a leprechaun.
SPEAKER_03Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_00Also the clovers.
SPEAKER_03Okay, yeah, that makes sense. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00He wasn't allowed to change clothes. Uh. He was cursed. Yeah. It was a terrible curse.
SPEAKER_03I bet n nothing else fit him, anyways.
SPEAKER_00No, exactly. And part of the curse was that he was stuck with this terribly thick Irish accent.
SPEAKER_03Ah.
SPEAKER_00Because this all took place in Ireland.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, oh yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Like right on the border between Ireland and Scotland, where like there's there's no understanding anything.
SPEAKER_03Ah, there.
SPEAKER_00Wherever that is, that's where it happened.
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah, there.
SPEAKER_00Right there. Yeah, if you look on the map, it's right there.
SPEAKER_03Oh, that's the map outside that we saw outside here.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it was right there. That's where it happened.
SPEAKER_03Oh, that's the treasure.
SPEAKER_00Oh, yeah. The treasure map.
SPEAKER_03Mmm. Now I get it. So the 17th, you're going to find the treasure.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_03Okay. So yeah, uh, the thing is, uh, do you celebrate this?
SPEAKER_00Well, I'm not really sure exactly how you're supposed to celebrate, other than having an excuse to uh get drunk.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and wear green, I guess.
SPEAKER_00That's all I really try to do is try to wear something green because I heard that it was supposed to be good luck. And if you don't, and this was a big deal in school, okay? If you didn't wear it green on St. Patrick's Day, then someone's gonna end up pinching you.
SPEAKER_02Oh.
SPEAKER_00And someone always pinched me because I always forgot that it was St. Patrick's Day.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_00And then like I had to really double check all of my clothes. Like, no, I'm wearing green underwear.
SPEAKER_03Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_00My socks are green.
SPEAKER_03You never showed your underwear.
SPEAKER_00No, I wasn't that brave at the time. I will today. Oh, if I'm wearing green underwear, I'll be like, look.
SPEAKER_03Have a look see.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. Well, and now I'm always wearing green because I have green on my tattoo. Yeah, that's true. Bam.
SPEAKER_03I am a fixed that.
SPEAKER_00I am secured for life. No one's pinching me now. That's pretty much what you do. And lucky charms are good.
SPEAKER_03So uh what's so random.
SPEAKER_00I like lucky charms.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's uh how how come uh it it uh became a cereal?
SPEAKER_00Because I I don't know, someone was trying to make money off of the money.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, okay, makes sense. But uh you're not you're allowed to eat that year round, right?
SPEAKER_00Not just yeah, or you're you're uh the they want you to eat it year round. It's not good for you. No, it's not I I wouldn't recommend it.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, okay. Really not good for it. Could it be like a tr you think uh do you don't have like a tradition to eat that uh the 17th month?
SPEAKER_00No, but it should be.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I'm not against it. No, but I don't want the whole box. I just want I want small boxes so that I don't go crazy because I will.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_03It's so good. I mean, if the whole family maybe you don't have to eat so much.
SPEAKER_00Maybe.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I don't know.
SPEAKER_00I don't know. Are you part of the family?
SPEAKER_03Sometimes. Sometimes I don't really know.
SPEAKER_00Sometimes you're my brother, apparently.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. You you never know.
SPEAKER_00No, depends on who you're asking, I think. That's all I have.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I don't have more questions, so all right.
SPEAKER_00Then should we um wrap this up? Yeah, are you all out of sips?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I'm all out of sips.
SPEAKER_00All right, and that so am I. Sorry.
SPEAKER_03So sorry, shush, so am I uh okay, uh and that means we're all we're a whore now. We're all whores here.
SPEAKER_02We're all whores here.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03No, that means we're all out of episode.
SPEAKER_00I didn't realize that finishing my beverage made me a whore. Okay.
SPEAKER_03You emptied that thing?
SPEAKER_00Yeah oh yes, I did. Too far. Okay. What was it? What was what was the line?
SPEAKER_03Which one?
SPEAKER_00We're all out of it. Sips.
SPEAKER_03We're all out of sips. That means we're all out of episode.
SPEAKER_00All right. Well, as we wrap up this episode, please tell me uh what is ruining your life.
SPEAKER_03My back, my foot, um my back.
SPEAKER_00Here's a list.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, no, uh uh a back and a foot.
SPEAKER_00A back and a foot. Okay. Pick one. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03And still cough. And I mean, when I'm coughing, I can feel my back. It's so annoying. Oh like Yeah. I get it. What's ruining your life?
SPEAKER_00Stress and slow emails. Email conversations can be very slow. And I am not someone who likes slow things. I like things that go fast.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So, yeah, if certain things could move a little bit faster, that would be great.
SPEAKER_03Very good.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I like everything to be done now. Yeah. As soon as possible.
SPEAKER_03As now as possible.
SPEAKER_00I'm a I'm a doing person. You know, I like to do things. I like to get things done. I'm a done person, is what I meant. I don't like the process, I like being done.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Do you feel like you're done?
SPEAKER_00I'm done.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_00Are you done?
SPEAKER_03Uh yes.
SPEAKER_00I'm content. I'm content.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. That could be a title.
SPEAKER_00Oh my goodness. Alright. Well, uh, thank you for listening to the episode. I hope you enjoyed it. I hope you learned something. Did we learn anything?
SPEAKER_03Nothing.
SPEAKER_00Nothing at all. I learned that um MacGyver and The Rock were in history together.
