Singing And Midnight Banter

SPEAKER_01

Like noon in the dead of night. Yep. Yay. That's as much as I want to sing.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Was it okay? It was good. Good. I didn't really try.

SPEAKER_02

No. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

I hope you didn't think that I was trying.

SPEAKER_02

I thought you were trying.

SPEAKER_01

You thought I was doing my very, very best.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I was trying really hard.

SPEAKER_02

I'm like, it's not gonna get better than this.

SPEAKER_01

Probably not.

SPEAKER_02

That could be the tagline for this time.

SPEAKER_01

I am a lot of sips.

SPEAKER_02

You are a lot of sips.

SPEAKER_01

I am a lot of sips. I am the most sips.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

Bad Alcohol And Hangover Myths

SPEAKER_01

I am too many sips. And then you feel kind of weird after bad alcohol.

SPEAKER_02

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Like you feel sick.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. I've had that feeling before.

SPEAKER_01

Oh no. Not good.

SPEAKER_02

Oh no.

SPEAKER_01

Not good. Anyway. It wasn't good. No, no. Uh anyway. No. Anyway. Yeah. Moving on.

SPEAKER_02

I usually don't have hangovers, but you did then. Oh wow.

SPEAKER_01

How were you on? You were okay on Sunday. Yeah, fine. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

No, nothing. I couldn't. No problems. No. And some people got jealous at work when I said that.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I feel like some people at work

The Quiet Coworker Gets Wild

SPEAKER_01

were drinking more than you two.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. I heard someone got really drunk who I didn't really expect. Like, or I don't know him that well.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

But um Arthur. He got really drunk.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my goodness.

SPEAKER_02

He was almost thrown out.

SPEAKER_01

Oh no.

SPEAKER_02

Because I was uh doing Invik with him and uh yeah and I uh he was there when I said that uh no I I don't get the hangover that much.

SPEAKER_01

He's like, oh lucky you oh that's so funny because he's like the quietest, he's like he looks so grumpy, he's like don't talk to me kind of vibe. And then when he was at the party, he looked like he was so social and so nice and so dressed up and fancy and like complete opposite of how he appears at work.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but I mean I must uh I must say that I've uh done In Vik with him uh a few times now, and I have actually got him into laugh. So yeah, so he he's starting to like opening up a little bit more.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. So we I've never had a con maybe I had one like small small talk with him, but honestly, it was a long time ago.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And I I uh was asking him if he was considering quitting, because that's what Eric had told me. Okay. He was like, Yeah, I think so. And that was pretty much it. Okay, but clearly that never happened. No. Cause I think I said something like,

Training Nerves And The Dramatic Sigh

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I uh me too, or something like I feel you. Yeah, but I'm the only one who really quit out of the two of us.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah, I um because he was uh teaching me the um um forbiddening before, and wow, it's that was scary because I mean him uh showing me and everything, and then when I did my uh things and uh was supposed to show him and he's like taking a look and the deepest size, like yeah, looks good.

SPEAKER_01

That was that was planned. That couldn't have been scary. Oh my god. Why? Yeah, that's mean, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Like the deepest nice, really disappointed.

SPEAKER_01

Like, yeah, I'm gonna have to fix this. Yeah, yep, no, that was good. Yeah, do another one. It's kind of funny though.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

All right, all right. Is it your turn or my turn? I don't remember.

SPEAKER_02

It might be my turn.

SPEAKER_01

It might be your turn.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. I can do it.

SPEAKER_01

I can do it. You can do it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. He wasn't in this one.

SPEAKER_01

No, I can do it. You can do it. I can do it.

SPEAKER_02

Excuse me.

SPEAKER_03

Did you hear that?

SPEAKER_01

Was that you or me? That was me. I thought it was me. Okay, maybe yeah.

Lost In The Woods And Broken Phones

SPEAKER_01

Well, I'm Lauren.

SPEAKER_02

And are you drunk now?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. And out in the woods of Morgan Globa. Oh, yeah. So uh I don't remember what it's called either. But anyway.

SPEAKER_02

How's her phone?

SPEAKER_01

Her phone is good.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Why? What?

SPEAKER_02

Because it had the Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

No, she um it was very broken. Um, but she has my life partner's old phone now.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, okay.

SPEAKER_01

It's been sitting on the side waiting, waiting for when she needed it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, okay.

SPEAKER_01

It's been on hold.

SPEAKER_02

It's not if, it's when.

SPEAKER_01

It's when, exactly. Because it's gonna happen. She's like, I've had this phone for like three years. Like, you've had no phone for more than six months. I don't know where you're getting this from. You haven't even had a phone for three years.

SPEAKER_02

No.

SPEAKER_01

You paid your

Rent Reminders And Payment Habits

SPEAKER_01

electricity, right?

SPEAKER_02

Well You paid any of your bills? Well, she pays the bill.

SPEAKER_01

Oh yeah, yeah, she does. She does.

SPEAKER_02

So yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But you have you have the rent and your insured. Yeah. You have your internet.

SPEAKER_02

Internet, yeah. Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Uh you would rather pay your internet than your rent.

SPEAKER_02

Well well, I I I get a uh bill for the internet.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Uh I don't get a bill from her. I have to remember that myself.

SPEAKER_01

You just switch her or okay. Alright.

SPEAKER_02

Well, she asked me. I'm like, it's easiest with the swish. But uh, I mean, uh uh it's uh difficult to remember, but yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I bet you could uh set up like yeah, I've been thinking about that too.

SPEAKER_02

A reoccurring scheduled, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

But uh yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I know you can do that through your bank at least. I don't know about Swish. No, but anyway.

SPEAKER_02

I can look look around. Yeah. Uh anyway, uh uh anyhow, she said that yeah, next month uh she will probably remind me again. And I'm like, yeah, that's fine. It's not do that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I mean that's uh remind me the day that you want it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Really? I mean, uh, she wasn't mad or anything. She's like, No, I totally understand.

SPEAKER_01

So it's not she seems pretty nice. Yeah, she is. Uh ow, I hurt my ears doing that.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Took a while.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, well, it like settled in.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Uh I wanted this data. Okay, and I I'm not sure if I even asked.

SPEAKER_02

You didn't ask. I didn't ask. They just gave you the No, I asked you.

SPEAKER_01

I uh almost made it, but I I was fighting a fever.

SPEAKER_02

No.

SPEAKER_01

No?

SPEAKER_02

No, that that that was the uh with your mom.

SPEAKER_01

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Wait, okay, what?

Movies Versus Real Life Consequences

SPEAKER_01

Real life tends to be less forgiving than the movies.

SPEAKER_02

But the movies didn't have consequences.

SPEAKER_01

Or were exactly they're not forgiving. They don't you don't get away with things as easily in real life.

SPEAKER_02

No, okay, okay, okay.

SPEAKER_01

Not in this case, but I guess it's a movie. That's all it came up with. We're living in the movie. Wh um you know Which now brings me to my next point. Okay, okay, anyway. Um I didn't

Soccer Breaks And Too Much Time

SPEAKER_01

want to. Okay. I was like, that's a bad idea. Why would you do that?

SPEAKER_02

I'm thinking, what what's the I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

What if I stop everything at the company party to watch a soccer game?

SPEAKER_02

Which is a thing that actually happened.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. But I'm gonna start with that because I did get something. Okay. Campus Slacker. Yeah. That's me. I never did get my name tag. No. I'm still very upset. My birthday is coming up. I don't think they make these name tags anymore. No. I'm sad forever. What if I stop everything at the company party to watch a soccer game? Soccer game. I wonder where I am on my cycle though. I should probably look.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

That might have something to do with it. Hold on.

SPEAKER_00

Then again, I'm so unpredictable. It doesn't even matter.

SPEAKER_01

No, I'm okay. I'm okay. Okay. I'm okay. Uh what's ruining my life is that I have so much time now. I don't know what to do.
